Our cottage, an hour north of Ottawa, has the old part of our cottage mainly resting on concrete blocks but one side is resting on the foundation of a new section of cottage. One corner of the old cottage has dropped down a inch or 2. We need to know best option to install new posts under edge of old cottage to level it with the new section. We are concerned with frost heaving when installing posts into the ground.
