Interested in getting a freestanding deck built, approx. 14 x 18 with wood/black metal railing and two steps down to ground level with railing. The deck will be level with a sliding glass door. There would be an angled corner to avoid a tree, the steps would be beside this angled area. Curious, a ballpark price? Also interesting in an accessibility ramp built on to the front door of the house, prefer stamped concrete or interlock. Approx. 15 feet door to driveway.

I would ballpark this deck at $5000 without seeing drawings and placement of footings, $350 for the stairs, and $3500 for railings. If you need a permit and drawings add an extra $1000. Cheap labour isn't skilled and skilled labour isn't cheap. Best of luck with your project.
