Issues with Fraser wood siding

Has anyone had issues with Fraser wood siding cupping, shrinking? Wood was prefinished in Ancient Lava by Frasers which is a dark colour and areas that receive the most sun are the worst.
We had Fraser wood siding installed in 2012. We have experienced wood shrinkage, cracking, sever cupping. Have rec'd free wood and free paint from Frasers but each year must change defective wood. Repainted and caulked in fall of 2015 but wood has shrunk and cupped over the winter.
