My parents were the original home owners of this, the FIRST Gold Medallion Home, built-in 1959 in The San Carlos Hills of Northern Calif.
This house was the "Model Home" and the Original EXTERIOR PAINT COLOR WAS PINK with White Trim and has remained PINK for the past 54 Years! I am about to change the Exterior color to compliment the Brickwork and the reddish Title Roof.
The exterior materials are both Stucco and wood panels and I do not want to paint them in different colors. The fencing, also painted PINK as shown in the pictures, will be replaced on both sides of the house by a 7ft tall Redwood fence with large gates. Made of Heartwood with Piano Key style and Redwood toppers on the 6x6 inch posts.
Question: What exterior color would you paint the home, and what color would you paint the Trim. The large shrubs at the front windows and near the garage have already been removed to expose the Brickwork. What color would you paint the Double Front Doors? What color would you paint the Garage door?
Thanks to all who respond!
I would recommend to paint the stucco and wood In a colour from Sherwin-Williams called repose Gray. This is if you are painting both the same. I would recommend the window trims doors and such the painted with a really clean white. What painting the stucco try to use a lower sheen paint, and never an elastomeric to allow the stucco to breath. I Would use some thing like weatherguard from DULUX, guardian from Cloverdale, A100 from Sherwin Williams, either way a paint that would breath is the best solution. Feel free to send us a picture in our email if you would like more color choice ideas.
I would defiantly go with some clean colors like cream white or some modern gray. Try to have 2-3 colors max! Dulux is a great product as well. Good luck!

Your original pink paint supposes the house color to be light and fresh. So I wouldn't suggest you any dark tint. Think about some complex light colors. The colors I have on my mind are complex creams. They'll look better than grays with your reddish roof. The complexity they have in their pigment are softer and more flexible than cleaner creams that makes the paint look richer and modern. Check out https://woodyexpert.com/best-paint-for-stucco/ and choose the paint that can go for stucco as well as for wood panels. I would leave the trim white. And as for the garage doors, I wouldn't make too much contrast as well. It'd be better if you've attached some photos as I can't see any.
