Paint color for foundation

What a lovely home! (Love the black hinges on the cellar door.) As to your question, paint is a personal thing, but you can't go wrong with a white foundation (to match the trim). Hard to tell in your photo, but matching the foundation to the siding colour may have the effect of making your house look oddly tall.

Beautiful Home! I would Recommend contacting a Color Consultant, From Benjamin Moore They have color Specialist or A Decorator that may help. You May also find lots of Color pamphlets at the Big box Stores Most paint Stores have Exterior colors that complement each other.
