Water management under a wooden deck.

I have a wooden deck with only a crawl space under it built against the back of my home. The rain water falls through the wood and sits against my foundation. Any ideas how I might install a system that catches rainwater under the deck and spills it further into the garden. I could angle plastic sheets against the foundation under the deck sloping towards the garden... could that work?

There are many under deck drainage systems available. The best system is Trex Rain Escapes. I make my own system out of EPDM roofing material as its twice as thick as the Trex. If that isn't an option for you look into DryDek available at Lowes. This product does not require the removal of the upper deck boards.
