We just had a composite deck installed and he didn’t scatter the boards. Now there is 1 long seam where they connect. Is there anything that can be fine?

You have to take the boards back up and hopefully you ca scatter them. But with the being cut to size already it may be tough. I'd call the co tractor back and have him fix the issue. Should be free of charge.

This is why you never go with the cheapest guy. This screams "I don't know what I'm doing." I would be more concerned about how the structure is built. If they don't know enough to stagger the seams, then they certainly don't understand how to properly support the structure. If you have a suitable amount of space under the deck, you could add a few joists and blocking and insert a middle seam board to make that line look like a design feature. Given that the deck is already finished, it won't be easy or cheap to do, but at least it won't look like a pre-schooler built it...
