I have a cottage with a basement which is partially built on bedrock. I get water coming in. Is there any type of a sealer which would cure this?

Interior membrane going into a sump system will solve your problem.

Probably best to eliminate the water issue itself....sump pit with a 100ft + discharge line? Down side...constant pumping & may go through a few pumps.

Sealing the top side may temporarily stop water from penetrating the floor, but won't prevent structure rot below / beneath.

Assuming this is all wood construction......
