Hi - I recently got a quote from a company to put in a front door, back door, and replace a small window in our bathroom. The doors will be fibreglass (front door has small panel bevelled glass) , the backdoor has sunburst pattern window at top of door.

They gave me a pretty hefty quote of $5,500.00. Does anyone think this is too much money for this? I will be getting two new outer screen doors too.

Hi Janice! Well the fact they are fiberglass puts the price up. I assume the front door has a sidelight. Also are they installing and removing? Having to make bigger openings? It all adds up in the end. Hope this helps!

$5500 is a lot of money for 2 doors and a small window. I would think $3000 would be a fair price and that would include removal of old doors and window.
