Bryant code 13

Hi,

I have a 12 yr old Bryant plus90i furnace. This morning we woke up to a cold house. First noticed the thermostat was blank. Checked and found the 24vac dead at the thermostat and the terminals at the furnace. Control panel flashing code 13. Reset furnace and it went through the cycle, blower, inducer, ignitor and fuel. Ran for 5 sec and shut down with code 33. After investigating code 33 I found and cleared a blockage in the condensate trap. Drained about 3 litres of water from the hoses, cleared all the sensor hoses and reset the furnace again. Has been running great since.

My question is, will thecode 13 lock out cause the 24v circuit to be shut off, or do I have another intermittent eletrical or control issue?

Any thoughts are appreciated,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Should do it clear all hose and filter connections also and possibly the vent motor and switches for proper operation. Check vent output and inputs for blockages Etc.

Cheers
