Jet Pump Won't Shut Off

I have a 1/2 horse jet pump that pumps from a shallow well. It has recently started taking a long time to get back up to pressure 30/50. If the washing machine is running the pressure will sit at 30 psi with the pump running until the water turns off, then it slowly comes back up to pressure. Even then it takes twice as long as it used to.
The pump is less than 3 years old and all this just started happening in the last month or so.
Any ideas?

Check your pressure tank, it is probably water logged.

Probably a water logged pressure tank. If it runs all the time, then a small leak in the system.
