Deck repair

I have a second floor deck that is 10x15. Two of the 6x6 posts are rotten and one is entirely missing.

What would I be looking at in regards to an estimate for having this fixed?

In most cases, once the posts are rotten it's time to replace the deck. You wouldn't want to replace the posts when what's sitting on the posts is gonna have to be replaced in a couple years. However if you were just to replace the posts it could cost up to $1500 but I wouldn't say any less than $800, it depends on the situation.

Hope this helps,

The best would be to change all of them but if the other posts are ok you can save some money on replacing just the damage one and painting all of them with the new restore paint, so you will be looking to $600.

$9.50 sq ft insulated for deck and $39 a linear ft for post.

I would have to see this deck personally, but in my opinion if it is only the posts that are damaged/missing that you are looking at repairing on a second floor, it would be in between 400-500 dollars for repair including labour.
