Average cost would be approximately $3-$5 per square foot. It really does depend what else needs to be removed the subfloor might need to be removed as well or ditra depending what is there. I recommend you call a trusted Pro contractor in your local area to get a firm quote

Generally $4.00 a sqft is the average, price will vary on the sub floor and how it is all attached, wire mesh, concrete on concrete etc.

Hi Marie,

Assume there are 300sqft of tile need to be removed

$900 to remove tile and clean up whatever is above subfloor so it's a clean for new flooring.

Remove cabinet is $650.
