What is the cost to build a side entrance to a detached house?

Hi,

I'll be moving soon into a detached house in Mississauga. I'm interested in getting a side entrance built, preferably with a permit. The exterior side wall is brick. The side entrance door will open into a stair landing, which goes down to the basement and up to the main floor of the house. I'm not sure but there should be a need to build a couple of steps at the side entrance to meet the level of the landing.

Right now, I'm looking for a rough estimate for labour and material as well as the permit costs in Mississauga.
