Bathroom renovation: new shower/tiles, flooring, toilet, custom vanity and sink. New paint and redo walls (currently textured). Add a fan, new light fixture. Also looking to add ceiling lights in 3 bedrooms (currently all lamps) and 6 pot lights in family room.
We are seeking a complete bathroom renovation including replacement of flooring, fixtures etc. We are not looking for the best of materials but something that is durable without costing us an arm and a leg. Time to completion is also important as we have purchased a new home and are looking to ready this one for sale. This is not a large bathroom but is the main bath to the home. The project will also include removal of a bulkhead over the existing bath area, elimination of an existing in wall medicine cabinet and installation of towel bars, etc.
Not a big job, basically cosmetic. House was built in 1985, upstairs bathroom gets the most use and is in need of the following:
New SInk
New Toilet
New ceramic tiles in tub area - or alternatively remove and replace all existing grout
new floor tiles - currently vinyl floor - can discuss options
possibly new tub
possibly new vanity
size of bathroom, including bathtub area: 8' x 5'
pleases contact us if more information is required
Bathroom was renovated 1 yr. ago. American Standard bathtub was defective and became squeaky. Tub needs to be removed and replaced under warranty. Tile supplier cannot guarantee a match so all tub surround ceiling and wall tile and floor tile needs to be removed (to get the tub out) and replaced with cement board backeron all walls and floor. Also remove and replace and paint door trim adjacent to tub. Existing vanity, toilet and showr need to be disconected, removed and reconnected. American Standard will pay for renovation.
We are in the process of getting our house ready to sell and am interested in getting pricing and timing related to installing tiles in our shower - there are a couple of other potential things we are looking at as - installation of glass doors in shower, vanity in bathroom, counter in kitchen as well as some general finishing items.
We are looking to move fairly quickly on this as we have already bought another house and now need to get ours on the market as soon as possible.
Hi,
We are looking to do a two phase reno.

2 -add a new bathroom into a walk in wardrobe space with is right next to the main bathroom. Before the main bathroom fixtures go in we want to get a rough in for a 3 piece bathroom into the new space.
Thanks,
Aleks

I own a condo/town home that is approximately 18 years old. All three of the bathrooms need to be renovated. the ensuite bath room needs a new shower, wether it is to be retiled or totally redone with a new stand up shower put in, needs a new toilet and sink and counter top as well. The other bathroom need a new tub/shower insert and retiled floor as well as a counter and sink and new toilet to be put in. The main floor bathroom need a new toilet and sink and counter top. I am open to suggestions and guidance.
Thanks
Rob W.
Currently I have an issue with water damage in behind an tiled bathtub wall (exterior wall). It looks like the water damage is caused by the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom, such that water is condensing on a skylight in the room and finding its way down the sloped ceiling and then wall between the vapour barrier and the tiling on the wall. The tiles are falling off the wall.
Job entails remove all the tiles from the side wall of the bathtub, installing new drywall/wetwall/cement board, and re-installing the existing tiles. Original tiles are all in good condition (no cracked tiles)
option to add an exhaust fan
option to replace the skylight with a Velux venting skylight. Skylight is approx 2' x 3'
This could also lead to a full bathroom renovation potentially, either now or down the road once the tenant moves on.
Master bathroom walk-in shower, approx. 5"x3' needs to be redone. Loose tiles revealed walls behind tile rotted out. Needs tile to be taken out of walls and floor, new drywall, new shower bed installed and the entire area retiled (glazed ceramic). house approx 20 years old.
Our home was built in the late '70s. The main bathroom upstairs appears to be still original, we bought the home 2 years ago. Although it is fully functional, the bathtub shower needs replacement. Water is getting behind the tiles on the wall, so I am fairly sure the walls behind the tiles will need replacement, although this nees confirmation. There are issues with the tap fixture which may require some light plumbing work. The bathtub doesn't look too bad but may benefit from being re-finished. This is a modest home, so requires a modest renovation.
Removal of existing bathroom vanity, sink and counter top and installation of new white vanity, approx. 48" by 23" with a new countertop of those dimensions in carrera marble or quartz that closely resembles that look as much as possible. Hopefully someone has or has access to a remnant of the aforementioned stone so that we do not have to purchase a whole slab of material for the countertop. We also will need a back splash and side splash in the stone.
1. Main washroom on top floor, need to remove shower stall and install tub.
2. Master bathroom, complete re-do; flooring, remove tub, create shower, install new vanity & paint walls.
3. Install crown moulding in master bedroom.
4. Paint all rooms/doors (including ceilings) on main floor and upstairs (house is approx. 2200 sqft).
Two Bathroom renovations in 40 year old home in excellent condition.
Basement bathroom approximately 25 square feet with one vanity & one toilet.
Change to approximately 40 square feet. Add new vanity, toilet, bathtub with shower, new electrical GFI outlet. Change entrance to pocket door approximately 24 inches. Due to enlargement, entrance to laundry room redone on opposite wall for standard door frame. No door necessary.
Main bathroom approximately 70 square feet. Remove bathtub, replace with shower enclosure. Add new vanity and toilet. Remove existing linen closet and install new entrance. New ceramic floor possibly heated. Lighting fixtures and GFI outlets installed with new wiring to breaker box in basement.
Online estimates please.
We have an old broken jet tub that needs to be removed, replaced with a new jet tub, new faucet, new simple shower head, removal of old wall around tub and install new tiling around tub.
We have the tub picked out from Home Depot (It's $1100).
Tiling will be large square tiles.
I have no clue what a project like this will cost, but we don't have a lot of money, so need to keep it on the cheap side. We will do post project painting ourselves. Rest of bathroom will be left as is for now.
Right now we are looking for feasibility information. We live in a 1950's bungalow and we are looking into the idea of changing a bedroom into a bathroom. There are two options. One bedroom is ideal but across the hall from the plumbing. Our concern with this option is how it will impact the ceiling height in the basement. My husband feels the plumbing will have to be angled so gravity will help it reach the stack
The second bedroom is beside the existing bathroom.
Have a Master ensuite needing renovation. Some details:
- House is 30 yrs old
- Bathroom on 2nd storey
- Bathroom measures 126" L x 53" W (vanity width 52-53")
- Full demolition to studs, to repair any issues that may exist behind/under current bathroom (I may do some demolition depending on time!)
- New drywall, preferably moisture-resistant
- Tiled shower with a bench/seat of some kind, with glass doors
- Would like information/opinions on Schluter system underneath shower tile
- Tile floor - would like to explore heated options depending on cost/recommendations
- New ceiling fan with proper ventilation to roof
- New vanity - I may have a new 52" vanity & counter top ready to go in - depending on your costs to source a similar one.
- New toilet
Timing is ASAP - please be reasonably local, insured & WSIB, with references, competitive on price and track record of adhering to timelines. Our satisfaction with this first job could lead to signficant future business - we have plans for 2 additional bathroom renovations, plus a complete kitchen reno with expansion.
Small bathroom approx 40 Sq ft. Original bathroom approx 30 year old home.
Looking to open up wall on one side (which is a bedroom closet) to add Sq ft to small space and to hopefully add plumbing for double vanity in that space. Looking for new tub/shower combo and built in shelves to replace where old vanity is.
We have a fixed budget so we know what we need and what we can live without.
Also, since it's our only bathroom... it needs to be done in under two weeks...
