Our kitchen ceiling leaks only after a warm thaw in February - the rest of the year it's fine. There is no leak during a rainstorm or snowstorm - it's not coming from the bathroom. A warm day in the middle of winter will cause it to leak. It's at the back of the house. Our bedroom covers about 1/2 of the kitchen, the rest of the kitchen has an outside roof. Any ideas?
I have a 19 year old roof with 2 layers of singles to remove. My house is 1000 sq. with a carport in the Brant Hills area of Burlington. I will definitely need 2 sheets of plywood as a metal chimney stack will be removed and there's a bad sheet on the carport. I will need 1 plumber flange replaced and 2 critter resistent roof vents installed and a bathroom vent replaced. I would like 40 year shingles. Eavestrough is good. Feel free to drop by by if needed to inspect /measure if needed, just ask for address in response.
Based on the chewing I can hear, I believe there’s a squirrel in the attic and I watched the spot he goes in.
He’s out of the roof most of the day, I would like someone with a ladder (it’s the second story to fix the hole(s?) he has chewed. There may be 2.
Please email with a quote or best guesstimate. I understand it may change once someone comes out.

Job is to replace the shingles on the garage roof. Half of the roof is new so can just be replacing the other half, or if it makes sense, can do the full thing. Roof is 24 feet long and 7 feet wide on each side (24 x 14'). If just replacing the old shingles, then the length is 14 feet (14 x 14). Timing is flexible but we want to get it done reasonably soon.
Please provide quote for following:
1. Remove existing shingle (1) layer
2. Disposal of existing shingle (1) layer
3. Remove and dispose of all old existing roof vents, bath vents, stack flashing & roof valleys
4. Supply and install 5 new metal prepainted roof vents
5. Supply and install 2 new bath room fan vents
6. Supply and install 3 new 3€ stack vent flashing
7. Supply and install new metal prepainted roof valleys with ice & water shield
8. Supply and install new drip edge along outer edge of roof at eaves
9. Supply and install new ice & water shield (eve protection) around outer edge of roof 3 feet up
10. Supply and install new IKO Cambridge 30 architectural shingle on approx. 2500 Sq. ft
Thank you,

We are in the process of getting our house ready to sell and am interested in getting pricing and timing related to installing new shingles on the upper portion of our house. We are looking to move quite quickly on this as we have already bought another house and now need to get ours on the market as soon as possible!
We have a mansard roof and have had trusses crack. We have an Engineers report and scope of work which involves removing the jack trusses at the front and back of the house, removing the mansard roof, adding new trusses beside the old trusses to make the roof a 4/12 pitch and covering the top level with siding. The diagrams outlining the renovation are attached.
Wind knocked down a satellite dish. The dish was only held in by 4 - 2 inch screws. I need someone who can go on the roof and patch holes and inspect for other damage. The dish will not be re-installed. I live in the Orchard area of Burlington (Sutton and Dundas St) in a 2 story home.
Thanks
There is a leek or puddling of water on one slope of our roof. It has two layers of shingles which will need to be stripped off, vapor bariers put in place and plywood installed. This slow leek has manifested in mold on the ceiling of our bedroom which will need to be torn out and replaced with drywall. The house was built in the 50's so it is lathe and plaster. The bedroom is about 10.5 x 12.5 feet.
I need someone to install three roof vents on the roof of a garage in Burlington.
The eave is 12-13 feet of the ground.
The pitch is about 45 degrees.
The peak is about 20 feet off the ground.
Asphalt shingles are in good shape.
I have the metal vents and the roofing cement.
I need someone who is experienced, has the safety tools is insured and knows what they are doing.
Would like to get this done relatively soon.
I have some loose shingles on my roof. When I bought the house a few years ago the inspector said the roof was fairly new and in great shape. Unfortunately due to some high winds a few shingles have come loose. I had a friend heck it out. He has good experience but no time to help me right now.
I need someone to look at the roof and tell me what I need to fix it.
Only reliable, honest and reasonable roofers need apply.
We had a small discolored spot in our kitchen. The drywall guys cut into it, and looked up and said they could see where it’s dripping from. A small roof above the kitchen. The roof was redone a couple years back. They believe it’s an issue at the flashing. I’m looking for someone to check it out, and repair the spot that is the issue.
Picture attached with yellow circle in the spot they said is the issue.
