In July 2009, I sustained flood damage to the basement. There was approx 5 - 6 inches of water in the basement. The drywall is producing black spots halfway up the walls. I would like to have the half wall replaced. This is a townhouse with an L shaped basement. It is partial finished, just the walls need replacement.
I would like estimates for right now. The work can be done evening or weekends. Payment is credit card or cheque.
Need Drywall hung on ceiling and walls, as well as mud/taped.
Ceilling is approx 784 square feet, and approx 1600 square feet of walls. I'm estimating approximately 80 boards.
I would like to have a quote based on how much you would charge per square foot to hang as well as mud and tape the drywall. As well I would like to know approximate time frame this could be completed in. I'm in the Hamilton area.
We need a garage completed. We need possibly insulated and vapour barrier installed. Also need drywalled and brought to finish.
We need started tomorrow. It is mostly framed. A small bulkhead may have to be created on the ceiling. And possible little more on other walls
Also need 2x6x14 added underneath platform to be structured better.
The garage is 13x21 with 14 ft ceiling. there is a platform that also needs to be drywalled and finished.
Please send me estimate or call me.
Thank you,
Angelique

Please provide an all-in cost for the job.

Hi there, I have a new build house in west hamilton. It is about 1473 sq ft on one level, and 850 on the lower level (above grade) with 2 baths needing the green drywall - and concrete board or equivalent in shower stall and around tub. This area includes 5 bedrooms, 1 large open living area which also contains a kitchen, and then the misc - 2 halls, laundry room, stairway.
Also include large garage to drywall - 623 sq ft.
I would like a quote for drywall and finishing to condition to paint.
I do have drawings that I can send.
This job should be ready to go in about 3 weeks - starting with the washrooms.
I am looking for a ROM quote at this time, or more accurate quote at this time. I put budget of up to 20k but let me know if it is more. I am guessing at 20k for now.
Thanks!

Hi,
I recently waterproofed 2 foundation walls in my basement and was looking for someone to come in and do the framing/electrical/drywall in the room. There are also a few areas that need some drywall patch in some rooms. Looking to get a general contractor that can do it all. I am looking to sell my house at the beginning of November so the work is quite urgent.

Leak sustained from 3rd floor to the 2nd floor of The London Tap House (Restaurant/Bar). Believed to be caused by ice machine on 3rd floor as we believe piping around drainage system has been loosened. Mold has now built up on 2nd floor drywall and rotted the drywall area which is about a 4'x4' area.
Quote needed on clearing mold, replacing dry wall and flooring that has been damaged.
I have a small bathroom in the basement, the guy who drywalled started mudding and then never came back, All there is to do is mud the bathroom and one wall on the stairwell to the basement. The bathroom is 4' * 10' and just over 6' high(roughly) and the other wall is maybe 6' long.
Also if you could build a window box for the window in the basement, that would be perfect too.
The plumber will do all the plumbing once the mudding is done.
Looking to have some taping and mudding done to the recent drywall we put up in our basement.
The ceiling is about 6 feet from the ground, we don’t have a special vacuum to clean up all the drywall dust, so that would be expected as part of the job. The space is about 10x20 plus a little 8x4.5 section with the ceiling aswell.
Need back room finished. Mudding the drywall, sanding, ready for paint. And painted when complete. Walls and ceiling.
7 by 10 foot room
All trim needs to be put on. Baseboards, door trim, window trim.
Need snap together laminate floor layed
I supply mud trim and flooring.
Labor is what I need.
I have a basement that has been boarded and now needs to be mudded, taped and primed. I have done the wall boards myself, walls and ceiling but the skills needed to do a flawless job on the rest, I know I just don't have. If you can tell me what your price per board foot is on mudding/taping and on Priming that would be appreciated. I am looking to have this completed by the end of the month, those who cannot accommodate that date, please do not reply.
Thanks
Mike
