Hello,
I am looking to get some work done on our home in Kanata. We have an old deck at the front door that is sinking, and we'd like to replace it with a covered veranda.
The scope of work would include:
- removal of existing decking and concrete step (under decking)
- inspect and repair structure under front door if necessary (I suspect mice are getting in there, and there could be water damage)
- design and build a covered patio/veranda leading to the front door
- potentially replace the front door
I'm just in the quote-gathering stage at the moment. We are expecting a baby at the end of May or beginning of June, so we probably would want the work to be done toward the end of the summer or beginning of fall.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Andrew

Due to surgery, I am unable to complete two projects to complete my partially finished Bar area and the siding for my 4 windows. There's a few minor finishing touches that need to be taken care of and need help completing.
Also need to add a few intake ducts to the three area's, access if there, I am unable to get onto the floor or stand on a ladder.
I am looking to get this done ASAP, Best Price needed,
ALL MATERIAL IS THERE NOTHING TO BUY.
My parent's home is going on the market soon and there are some repairs needed before it goes on the market.
We will require Roofing repairs, Interior repairs and some painting.
I will need the repairs done ASAP. I have a pre-sale home inspection report detailing the issues. Some I will be taking care of, but my time is limited. I will require some of the items to be done by others.

I have a couple small and a couple of large projects and I'm looking for a quality contractor who can help with some small items now and be our go-to for larger projects down the road.
Our immediate concern is to construct a fireplace surround for our new gas fireplace. we want a very simple MDF construct to essentially box in the fireplace recessing it and creating a mantle in the process.
We also want to frame in a bedroom in the partially finished basement. The "room" already has a window and closet but is open to the rest of the basement. We also want a suspended ceiling installed throughout the basement. which is mostly finished.
Near future projects (most likely within the year) include replacing a laminate kitchen counter and tile backsplash and a complete gut and redo of a small (about 5X7) ensuite bathroom. In the bathroom we are looking to install ceramic tile flooring (hexigonal shaped) ceramic subway tile shower surround and wainscotting height around the rest of the bathroom. We also want to install a large tub-sized shower (rather than a tub) new toilet, sink, light fixtures etc.
Our house needs a lot of work! also on the eventual list are the addition of a bathroom in the basement (i believe the rough in is there), re-do of a powder room and new flooring throughout.
I am looking for actual in person estimates for the most accurate quotes possible.
