Existing 23year old home fully completed. looking to expand basement bedroom, water proof basement. Basement is all drop ceiling.Location: Kingston | Budget: $1,000 - $5,000
I have a 25 year old home that I purchased 7 years ago. The basement is a fully finished rec room with a drop ceiling. There is also a full laundry room and bathroom. The rec room portion of the basement is in a "L" shape. The old owners made a wall at the end of the "L" shape and created a bedroom. The Bedroom is long all the and goes to the back end of the house. I love the bedroom but I need it redone in a more functional manner. Now we had a problem last year the eaves-trough was caused water to come into the house and came through right in this back bedroom at the back. So we had to take down the drywall in the back and well it has not been fixed yet. I would like this fixed as well as the wall that was currently made by the old owners be taken down but I also want a new wall put up where the basement "L" shape begins.. so that the bedroom will be more functionally and maybe I could add walk in closet if possible. I also have two to three other home projects I need done but my main focus right now is this basement bedroom more functional. This is something that I am looking to complete no later then the end of August. Thanks you DanielleLocation: Kingston | Budget: $500 - $1,000
