We had a driveway extension done with stones a few years back. Unfortunately we had to have our waterline replaced which meant digging two holes into our front yard where the extension is and removing the stones in the process.
We still have all the stones that were there but we are looking for someone to come and re-compact and re-lay that section for us.
I have attached before and after pictures for reference.
Project is located in Milton (Bronte/Derry Rd). Front entry to be demo'd including concrete retaining wall. New Landscaping/armour stone retaining wall/interlock walkway/some landscaping type project. Demo plus new install.
Please email if you are interested and set up time to meet on site. Thanks.
Timeline flexible but sooner than later. Email is best to communicate.
Hi,
I am considering putting in a sprinkler system and re-sodding the existing grass. Looking for someone to come out and advise on how many sprinkler heads are needed and provide a quote to complete the job. Area measurements are unknown at this time, but would cover the front and back of the house.
Thanks
Looking for installer to install interlocking pavers, they are approx 5*9*2 inches.
English cobelstone style, smoke.
1/2 of the excavation is complete including removal of earth. Installer to complete the excavation.
Garden Wall is on the around half of patio in an "L" shape.
Installer to provide:
Gravel, screening, and sand.
Brick for garden wall.
Large corner lot in town (Bronte Meadows, Milton) with cedar privacy hedge and trees, pool in side yard, large front lawn area around corner lot, smaller back yard lawn with beds and shrubs.
Looking for cost of spring and fall major clean ups plus weekly maintenance.
There will also be some larger projects next spring.
We recently moved in and we are looking to make some changes and improvements to our outdoor spaces.
This could be done as one large project or broken into 2 depending on costs.
1)
------------------------------------------------------------------
we have a sump pump that drains at the entrance gate to the backyard creating a constant soggy wet area. We would like this rerouted away from this area.
We would like an extra gate put in leading to the backyard.
Landscaping around the front porch limited to digging out the grass and adding soil to the predetermined design. We will do the planting.
Planting a larger tree in the front yard, either an eastern redbud or maple.
2)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The second part of the work would be in the backyard. We need a shed moved from its current location to a more suitable spot, the patio needs to be taken up and redesigned. We would like to keep the pergola but it can be moved. The redesign of the patio may include moving existing trees and rocks. We would be open to considering a deck vs a patio depending on cost. We are looking to keep it as cost effective as possible.

Hi there.
My husband and I just moved to Milton this weekend and extremely excited about our new home with great space, light and huge windows. What I have noticed is now these big windows are the biggest holes for neighbours and have now caused my privacy concerns. Our total lot size is (45x80) and the depth of our backyard could not be more than 15 feet long and has a deck already on 1 side. We have neighbours backing onto as from all sides as we are beside a corner lot and will need several trees planted in mulltiple corners of our backyard. To add onto this challenge we also have a large water drain on my property that I wish tgo cover up with scrubs or something. As per the town: "If you have a rear lot catch basin (to collect surface drainage and transfer it to the local storm sewer), the Town may need to access this area for maintenance, so you are not allowed build on top of this area, except for fences."
I do not require large flagstones or patio stones but rather want mature trees planted to block the views of my neighbors and the wooden fence is already up.
My job requirements are the following:
- Free consultation
- Backyard design with perennials, flowers, scrubs built for year over year growth and easy maintenance
- All flowers or not high pollen or prone to allergies
- Dog friendly and kid friendly designs
- Planting of several large mature trees (evergreen, japanese maple)
- Potentially need to level or take a look at the grading of property as it appears the sod has sunken down
- cannot fit heavy machinery in the backyard for planting as backyards are filled with backyard fences on all sides
- I am working on a budget. I understand it is difficult to quote via email without seeing the property but I want a good range to understand tree materials, plants, and labour as well as planting schedule
The best way to contact me is via email, please email me on this site.
Thanks,
Louise
