Driveway Paving Details
Current driveway is mix of gravel and dirt and we would like to put in a 18.5' X 43' asphalt. (minimum 6" gravel base and 2" compacted asphalt)
The walkway along the side of the house is roughly 4' X 60' with slightly larger landing at both ends of the walkway. The total interlock area is 260 sq ft. The quote should be for "villa stone" from Bestway Stone or similar.
The front yard has interlocking stone, but it is too big and overtakes the front yard, it needs to be redesigned to create a softer and more agreeable front door welcome, some flower beds installed. I am hoping to use the existing stone to save some money, plus there is SO much of it.
The back yard has a single deck off the kitchen above the walkout from the basement with no access to the back yard, incorporating the old deck (possibly) have stairs installed and another deck or interlocking stone used to create an area for some patio furniture

1. Complete site services.

We have been wrestling with NOT having a fence across the back area of our unit, and because this is Co-Op housing and there are just too many "issues" to deal with (and I am running out of patience) I have decided that a large cedar hedge would be nice.
We have approx. 16ft-20ft to go across - one neighbour gave us a $15.00 6ft cedar to start as she bought for herself and the space she bought for was too small.
I can plant myself, but if delivery and planting is included, that would be ok - as long as the rpice sin't too much - looking to spend no more than $100.00 (or maybe a bit more)
Dundas St/Mississauga Rd area in Mississauga
water is getting into my basement. when it rains, water puddles in my backyard. there used to be a french drain in the yard, but it didn't appear to be effective, and i recently removed it with the intention of getting at the root of the problem. it is likely the yard needs to have a better slope - the water needs to flow towards the street rather than puddle. there is a possibility the drainage under the window well might also need to be improved. because the foundation is 2 different levels, an outside sealant would only be minimally effective. eavestrough were just replaced 2 years ago, and seemed to improve the problem only temporarily.
the backyard reaches back about 100 ft. the problem is only on one side of the backyard - because water flows downwards from other properties onto ours.
i'd prefer a rough estimate online first, instead of dragging too many people in for a detailed quote.
I have 120 feet of fence that needs to be repaired or replaced. The original installation was defective and the post holes were not deep enough, causing the fence to heave and is no longer safe.
I also have a hill in the rear of my backyard I would like leveled and and a retaining wall built and a 12' x 10'concrete pad poured for a shed. approx 24 feet deep and 6' high.
I would be most interested in one contractor doing all the work.

We have a very old front walkway that is falling apart. We are in the market for a new walkway and are looking for some prices. We have already received a couple of quotes from contractors and they seemed a bit high. We are looking for a BASIC walkway ( concrete- preferably stamped or coloured ) The step up from the walkway going into the house is approx. 5ft wide by 4ft long. the walkway itself right now is approx 3 ft wide by 12 ft long. We are looking at a curved walkway that runs tapered into the driveway and would like to widen it a bit ( maybe to 3.5 ft). The existing walkway is already curved and we want to keep the configuration. The landing (stepup) going into the house has a solid concrete foundation about5-6 inches thick. The previous owners just put some rock on top of it and set it in cement. We want to take the top layer off and possibly reshape it in an oval
( if that can even be done).

I need a grassed area of approx. 150-180 sq.ft. in my back yard tilled so I can grow a vegetable garden. I do not have the equipment or time to do the tilling myself, so I am looking for someone who can provide this service. If you are able to provide this service please provide me with a contact name and phone number so I can call in regards to pricing or scheduling for an estimate.
Looking for a contractor to:
I have a 18'X36' in ground pool that I want to fill in and remove the steel vertical sides. The entire backyard needs to be re-sloped and sod put down. The reason for the re-sloping is that the pool edge is highest point in the backyard. There is also some interlocking work involved.
Our final goal is to get our driveway extended to make room to park our cars. We will be doing the driveway next year. This year we need to get a our retaining wall removed and a portion of our lawn removed in order to prepare for the driveway extention. We are in a semi detatched house with a driveway that fits 2 cars. Once we have the old wall and the lawn removed, we would like to get a new wall built. Our neighbour would like to have the wall made as well.
-age of house 12 years
-interlock on walkway a bit sloped due to lack of grout and sealant from previous owners but sufficient amount of screening underneath
- approx length, width of walkway, (step = 3x5, walkway = 18x3)
-we will remove carpets & underpad for laminate install, would like to see samples of laminate flooring
-window frames to be painted are quite small - garage doors painted 4 years ago but in good condition, paint will be provided in existing colour
Require estimation for interlocking of an area of aprox 210 sq ft. This area is located in the backyard. Since entrance to backyard is really narrow, no bobcat can be utilized ( manual excavation ). This estimation must include labour and material ( excavation, layout of bricks, removal of grass, disposal, etc ). Brick should be the most standard one to lower the cost. No steps are required.
Hi - I have 4, roughly 700lb landscape stones, I need placed in my front garden bed. They are currently on a skid on my driveway and the furthest rock that needs to be moved is 30 feet from driveway then one at 20 feet and 2 at ten feet away from driveway. All have easy access, no obstacles and drop areas are all well defined. Can you please provide a quote for this job. I am in the QEW and Dixie Road area.
I bought an old house poorly landscaped and I need someone with good and inexpensive ideas and also a reasonable price. I am planning to remove the old grass and put in a new one or planting (whatever works faster and is cheaper). There are lots of weeds and old logs all around. I can't afford removing the concrete blocks and gravel that is in there now. Tks
I had my driveway paved and had that contractor put in new curbs. But he did not secure the curbs on the other side of the driveway (towards the lawn). Now the curbs are sliding away from the driveway and have to be put back in place everyday.
I need some one to come in and put down some top soil and lay some grass on the lawn side of the curb so that the curb will stay in place. I am also open to consider other ideas of keeping the curb in place. This needs to be done on both sides of the driveway. The driveway is a four car driveway with no sidewalk.
I'm currently in the process of sourcing a contractor to provide a cost/quote on some landscaping (hardscaping) for both my front and back gardens. I have already obtained a formal landscaping design for both areas.
Attached is a copy of the landscaping drawing together that outlines measurements and preferred materials.
Special Note: The property is a condo townhouse so there maybe some HOA restrictions. Also, I believe that there possibly is a gas line that runs through the back garden so locates will need to be arranged.
Should you have any further questions, please let me know.
I was hoping to get a quote for some work I wanted done.
Mainly I was hoping to get my driveway extended on one side with patio stones or similar. Creating a walkway along the side of the house, moving some small trees and some lawn care.

#2. Build a walkway and single step from the front of the house along the side with patio stones or similar. 50ft long.
#3. Switch the large tree with the small ones at the end. Also remove 2 of the yellow bushes in the background.
#4. Remove the indicated bushes and compost if able. Replant the foreground with flowers.
#5. Build a base for a shed with stones or similar. 9ft by 5ft.
Also would like some patches of grass repaired.
