Hello,
We are looking for help to landscape our back yard. It is currently just grass (a blank canvas). We would like to create a space that the family can enjoy. We are hoping someone can help us put together a plan. We would like stamped concrete a fire pit, shed and and place for bbq with some grass and trees and we are open to ideas.
Hoping to hear from somebody soon.
I am looking for someone to fix our backyard patio. Currently, we have pavers that are uneven and do not drain properly. I am looking to potentially replace the pavers with concrete and to improve a surface runoff issue. Ideally, I am looking for a landscaper that can also replace some sodd in our backyard and front yard and potentially remove a tree. I am living in a townhouse, and access to the house would have to be from the back.
Hello,
We are looking to get a stamped concrete patio and grass sodding done in our backyard this spring summer. Please refer to the attached drawing for a rough idea of size, shape and scope of work.
To help understand the image better:
> The backyard is accessible from the side of the house through a 3 feet wide fence gate.
> We currently have flower bed on three sides of the backyard, around 2 feet in width. We plan to keep it as is.
On a high level, the scope of work is following:
> Do a stamped concrete patio in approx 240sqft. The total work area for patio is 20X14 but this also includes steps from house to patio and a couple of small flower beds. So the actual area which will be used for patio is around 240-250sqft.
> Excavate and replace topsoil if necessary, and put fresh grass sod in remaining 20X10 area after patio.
> Put new steps from the house to the backyard, roughly 5' wide, and 2' high.
The backyard is sloped towards the bottom left corned in the drawing.
Please let us know if this is something you would be interesting in taking up as a job.
We are looking for some key details when you give us an initial rough quote, like
> How many inches of soil would you excavate (for patio & sod)
> How many inches of compacted base(crushed stone etc) would be installed before pouring concrete. And which size of stone.
> Thickness of concrete itself, and if you plan to use rebar mesh or not.
Thank you for your time reading this. I hope I have added enough information for you to be able to give us a high level quote.
The front yard has interlocking stone, but it is too big and overtakes the front yard, it needs to be redesigned to create a softer and more agreeable front door welcome, some flower beds installed. I am hoping to use the existing stone to save some money, plus there is SO much of it.
The back yard has a single deck off the kitchen above the walkout from the basement with no access to the back yard, incorporating the old deck (possibly) have stairs installed and another deck or interlocking stone used to create an area for some patio furniture

We have been wrestling with NOT having a fence across the back area of our unit, and because this is Co-Op housing and there are just too many "issues" to deal with (and I am running out of patience) I have decided that a large cedar hedge would be nice.
We have approx. 16ft-20ft to go across - one neighbour gave us a $15.00 6ft cedar to start as she bought for herself and the space she bought for was too small.
I can plant myself, but if delivery and planting is included, that would be ok - as long as the rpice sin't too much - looking to spend no more than $100.00 (or maybe a bit more)
Dundas St/Mississauga Rd area in Mississauga
water is getting into my basement. when it rains, water puddles in my backyard. there used to be a french drain in the yard, but it didn't appear to be effective, and i recently removed it with the intention of getting at the root of the problem. it is likely the yard needs to have a better slope - the water needs to flow towards the street rather than puddle. there is a possibility the drainage under the window well might also need to be improved. because the foundation is 2 different levels, an outside sealant would only be minimally effective. eavestrough were just replaced 2 years ago, and seemed to improve the problem only temporarily.
the backyard reaches back about 100 ft. the problem is only on one side of the backyard - because water flows downwards from other properties onto ours.
i'd prefer a rough estimate online first, instead of dragging too many people in for a detailed quote.
I recently purchased a house in Mississauga and would like some work done before moving in. We take possession June 15th.
Priority:
Need driveway redone with stone interlocking.
Front steps to be re-leveled and matching driving
East and west side of the property to be re-leveled and possibly replacing cement slabs with stone or brick.
Patio re-done and expanded
If possible "reset" garden and re-level backyard.
I have 120 feet of fence that needs to be repaired or replaced. The original installation was defective and the post holes were not deep enough, causing the fence to heave and is no longer safe.
I also have a hill in the rear of my backyard I would like leveled and and a retaining wall built and a 12' x 10'concrete pad poured for a shed. approx 24 feet deep and 6' high.
I would be most interested in one contractor doing all the work.
We need a full front lawn landscaping and design proposal. including new walkway, in ground lighting features, plant beds and some structure design elements (ie planters, wall, etc), we will leave it to you to provide great ideas.
Looking for a complete design and pricing quote. area is approximately 30 feet wide by about 20 feet deep from the city property line.
Area is currently sodded only. See photos

Hello
We have a very old front walkway that is falling apart. We are in the market for a new walkway and are looking for some prices. We have already received a couple of quotes from contractors and they seemed a bit high. We are looking for a BASIC walkway ( concrete- preferably stamped or coloured ) The step up from the walkway going into the house is approx. 5ft wide by 4ft long. the walkway itself right now is approx 3 ft wide by 12 ft long. We are looking at a curved walkway that runs tapered into the driveway and would like to widen it a bit ( maybe to 3.5 ft). The existing walkway is already curved and we want to keep the configuration. The landing (stepup) going into the house has a solid concrete foundation about5-6 inches thick. The previous owners just put some rock on top of it and set it in cement. We want to take the top layer off and possibly reshape it in an oval
( if that can even be done).
Backyard: 25 year old house - 40' x 40'
1. Remove 18' x 52" above ground pool
2. Remove deck semi pool deck
3. Build new ground level patio - stamped concrete or flag stone
4. Build small deck with stairs to ground level - composite board
5. Fence off dog run along one side of house
6. Add planter boxes to existing gardens (along the back fence)
Frontyard: 2 step grade, single door entry with awning
1. Remodel front step with hand railing and walkway lighting
2. Remodel pathway from driveway and along side of house to backyard
3. Replace four car asphalt driveway
I'm hoping to cut down my overgrown front yard. I want to keep some of the shrubs near the house but the other side of the walkway to the front door, I'd like to tame down or remove. There is a lilac tree that may need to come out as well. It's about 20 years old. There are two globe cedars that I'd like taken out as well. They are about 20 years as well. Also the city tree is apparently sick and others have replaced theirs already as the City did it. They won't do ours due to it's location.
There is a small wall, that will need part of it taken down. It's about a foot tall.
Of course till I get a quote and an idea of price, I can't say I can do all I want to.
Thanks
To redo the front of the yard by replacing/removing current evergreens and other shrubs except the Rose plant( to be moved to another location in this project) if required.
Want to plant Hydrangeas, drift roses, Delphinium, Hostas and other companion plants that are perennial and low maintenance.
I need a grassed area of approx. 150-180 sq.ft. in my back yard tilled so I can grow a vegetable garden. I do not have the equipment or time to do the tilling myself, so I am looking for someone who can provide this service. If you are able to provide this service please provide me with a contact name and phone number so I can call in regards to pricing or scheduling for an estimate.
Looking for a contractor to:
I have a 18'X36' in ground pool that I want to fill in and remove the steel vertical sides. The entire backyard needs to be re-sloped and sod put down. The reason for the re-sloping is that the pool edge is highest point in the backyard. There is also some interlocking work involved.
Our final goal is to get our driveway extended to make room to park our cars. We will be doing the driveway next year. This year we need to get a our retaining wall removed and a portion of our lawn removed in order to prepare for the driveway extention. We are in a semi detatched house with a driveway that fits 2 cars. Once we have the old wall and the lawn removed, we would like to get a new wall built. Our neighbour would like to have the wall made as well.
