I have 3 exterior projects that need to be completed. The first project is my fence. The fence post next to the gate has broken and must be replaced. I would like to use this as an opportunity to install a slightly wider gate and have the fence post replaced.
The second project is my front steps, which have settled and become crooked, plus I would like to install railings.
The third project is to install a retaining wall (approx 30 feet) on the east side of the property. I am hoping to find a company to complete the fence and the stonework projects, but would be open to separate companies if necessary.
have rail road ties frame, fill and patio stone stone for the front steps of 5 flights 30" high, 75" wide and 13' long. It has sunk, become un level, and bottom most tie front portion is rotten. Time to replace the stepst. Thinking of using sand stone steps. Require to be done before the end of July. Any other ideas that fit within the budget is welcome.
Looking at replacing my 10 year old patio stones in front of my house with some interlocking in an area that is about 14'x4'. Also have concrete steps that need to be resurfaced and a railing installed. House is 12 years old and currently only have grass in the front, but want to put a garden in and need to do this first apparently.
Front yard garden area is 22' x 3' requiring brick/stone about two high all around garden. Second level of stones added to center tree area which has one row of stones already around it. Rear garden sits against a back chainlink fence, but we want stone or brink 2 layers high surrounding it. Front patio stones require leveling and raising by 1 or 2 inches, and may be replaced if an attractive alternative is found. Condo rules require these stones to be white or off white.
I have about 80 sq ft on interlock on the porch and the side if the house with grass and weeds growing through the gaps. Another 550 sq ft of patio stones in the backyard with gaps between stone with weeds growing through - some places have gaps of more than 1/2". Would like to have the gaps sealed/repaired. Remove stones, lay cloth, screening, put back stones and seal up gaps etc.
I currently have a pathway along the side of my residence ending at the driveway (parkway really..) anyhow, in a pinch I finished it with some stone from home depot but I would rather it be finished with a proper step. I would also like a simple curb installed alon the side of the "park"way. small project that I have no time to complete.
Need to have interlock pathway from the driveway to the front entrance. A step will be required in front of the main entrance. I have measured the area and approx. it is 160 to 190 sq. ft. Please provide an estimate, special deals, timelines and warranty details. The house is located in Mississauga near Winston Churchill and Britannia Rd
I am looking for a well experienced company to install interlocking. Quality of work is very important.
Please contact me to schedule an appointment for an estimate.
i have attached a diagram of the design I am interested in. Also would need 2 steps built as shown
I am located in mississauga near 9th line and derry
I have an existing 4 car interlocked driveway at my house that is approximate 17ft wide by 45ft long. I also have an interlocked front patio with steps (approximately 3-4 steps) leading up to the house. I want to do two things:
1) Expand the driveway by adding a semi circle on the lawn next to the driveway to create a separate 'exit' using the same stone as the driveway. This will create a semi-circle driveway. The semi circle area will be approximate 12ft wide and 45ft long. The base underneath the stones should be a minimum of 12-14inches.
2) I want to widen the front patio and entrance to the house to create a top level (front door level) of approximately 7ft by 15ft. Additionally, there should be around 3 levels of steps leading down to the driveway. These can be interlocked, I'm not looking for one piece solid pieces.
Start date is first or second week of October.
Please give me an approximate quote and we can discuss plans further.
A portion of my interlocking brick driveway has become wave-like. I need someone to come by, remove the interlocking stones - place more gravel below it to re-level it.
I estimate there is about a 5X25 food area that needs to be done. I've attached some pictures. You can see by the darker areas where the water pools.
I could do it myself, but I do not have the time.
I am looking for someone who can do a small interlock project at the front of my house. It's only a 4x8 space and should only be a 1 or 2 day project at the most. I'm looking for someone who is reputable and who can give me a reasonable price. I've had some quotes already and I know approximately how much this project should be.

Require interlocking patio at the back and front of house including on front concrete surface porch. Pathways of same stone running from the front to the back of the house. Total area of scope of work is 850 square ft approx.
In addition there is a staircase 12 ft wide and of two steps in the backyard and one at the front entrance porch six ft wide and five steps. We want these to be interlock staircases. Our house is about six years old.
We prefer material to be UNILOCK-Beacon Hill Flagstone p78 or Techno-Bloc BLU60mm p60.
Please quote best price and delivery.
We would like to replace/redo the interlocking stone on the front porch and walkway. Porch area approx. 13ft x 7ft and 1ft high & curved, 1 step approx 3ft x 8ft and 6in high & curved, walkway 3ft x 15ft. plus 1 or 2 armour stones, interested in a random tumbled stone.. Remove old brick/stone and bush.
1. New Interlock brick path around the left and right side of the house to the backyard deck and to Shed.
2. Front Interlock patio needs partial regrading away from garage wall, cleaned and sealed. (Picture included)
3. Front Interlock stairs needs rebuilding. (Picture included)
I'd like to use the same style interlock bricks from my original supplier.
I'd prefer an on site quote after reviewing the dimensions.
Our backyard interlock patio needs to be re-lifted out and redone. Approximately 30ft x 20ft. We want to re-use the stones we have but the wood edging needs to be replaced. We are looking at either re-doing the stones (depending how $$) or replacing the whole thing with a wood deck and this would be done by us unless the price is right.
Our house was built in 1947. We have an old wooden and stone porch that was built over an existing stoop. It is currently uncovered and not to code. It is also failing apart. We are looking to rebuild with a covered section and reconfigure the stairs. Have some design ideas but would be open to suggestions. Looking to get 3 estimates.
It's a old house and want to possibly do in a craftsman type style.
We have a brick wall going up our front stairs and in front of the landing in front of the stairs.
We have concerns with this structure so we would like a professional opinion as to whether it can be saved or must be re built. We also have a landing area approx. 10' x 8'. It is a landing with flag stone on the surface. The flagstone was raised about 2" above the base and it has suuk so this area need to be built up and resurfaced. We are flexible about what surface even to replace it with. I need an estimate. A budget is shown below but we really net an evaluation and a quote
FRONT STONE STEPS:
We have 5 stone steps going up to our porch, which are about 5 feet wide, and were done by a very incompetent contractor (they finished 2-3 inches below edge of the porch).
The steps were intended to be 4-5 inches high and wide for my dad, who is handicapped and uses crutches. The stairs are sinking and un-even, and need to be leveled and re-installed properly. We need them to be raised to the porch edge (covering the brick area in the picture, incase I am using the wrong terminology), and evened out in height. They are currently laid on what appears to be HPB, which has held up well for about 5 years.
REAR PATIO STONES:
We have patio stones covering an area of 10'x18' in the back - this was a home done job, with nothing but compacted soil and stuff underneath - so this would need just enough HPB or other base to level and lay the stones back on.
We are looking to sell the house, so we don't want to spend anymore than what would be needed to repair/reuse what is already there, instead of a more elaborate solution. We want the result to look neat, and hold up for a few more years and let the new owner decide what they want to do next.
Please review the attached pictures and provide a complete quote in your response to include any labour, tools, equipment etc - cost of additional materials can be discussed as needed before we finalize the contract. This project must be completed within the month of May.
This is a residential home with an existing flagstone covered front porch and walkway. The flagstone and interconnecting cement is crumbling. This also results in water leaking into the cold room located directly below. Rain drips down from the top of the cold room, not from the bottom.
The porch dimensions are 6 by 21 feet with four steps and a 14 foot walkway. Estimated square footage, including facing, is about 200 to 225 sq.ft.
Project: Remove and dispose of existing flagstone. Seal cracks (if any) in the underlying cement porch. Cover porch, facing, stairs and walkway with new flagstone.
