We are currently undergoing a whole home renovation.
We are looking for an electrician that can work with us on an ongoing basis as the work is required.
At the moment we need several outlets and switches relocated.
If you are interested please contact us as soon as possible, to discuss the job further and see the house for a quote.
Thank you.
I have a house in Oshawa that was built in the 1940's The electrical panel is the old glass fuses 60amp with a pony panel. I want it changed for a modern curcuit breaker panel and as much more power (100 amps or more). Also the whole kitchen and bathroom is on the same curcuit and will have to be rewired for the current codes. In addition there is no outside outlets and I would like one install.
Looking to do some work in my house I need an Electrician and Plumber to give me an estimate
Electrical work:
Changing the main panel from fuse to a breaker.
Change all the plugs in the house and make sure everyone works. (I can provide the plugs)
Install some fixture (this will be provided by me).
Plumber:
Need to change all the faucets
Make sure all the pluming in the house in working and good condition
Change all the joints (the shutoff in the house) (I can provide the materials)
I am looking for some electrical work - details/description below (the house is 8 years old):
-Replace/install 5 bathroom fans
-Replace/install 4 outside lights
-Install one MBR bath
Please read the above scope of work before asking a bunch of silly questions - they are existing fans in the bathrooms - they are all hard wired (vs. plug in). We will supply the fans and the lights - all I need is someone to replace the existing hardware. You must be licensed and provide a written quote - no offers to do the work for cash will be considered. As well, I am only looking for an electrician based in the Durham region - so if you are from Toronto - am not interested in paying for your gas - sorry to sound harsh but I get frustrated when people don't read.

General over view of my electrical would be appreciated.
I live in a two storey townhouse in Oshawa, and my home is 25 years old. I have various sockets around the house that do not function and think it may be time to upgrade the entire house electrically. I have screw in fuses at this time and may want to switch to breakers. I need estimates for this service. Thank-you.

Our problems:
-loose, live wires in basement
-unfinished outlet in kitchen
-metal fan in ceiling of kitchen with no switch
-one outlet in livingroom doesn't work
-can't use more than one small appliance at a time in kitchen or power goes out
-basement only has one outlet
-no outside outlet
-bedrooms only have 2 outlets each (1-two prong + 1- three prong in each room)
Our wish:
-to make our home safe, for things to work properly & to have adequate bedroom outlets so both children can have computers
I have a few electrical problems in my townhouse that I rent out, its aluminum wiring so I don't want to do it myself, there is 1 plug that needs to be fixed, one light switch where the flicker is broken, one light that doesn't turn on, and I have a bathroom fan that needs to be replaced, I have the same replacement part just need it hooked up.

Hello, i have a dishwasher that has never been installed (no wiring from panel to dishwasher and no pluming to the sink). I am looking to have electrician run wire from panel to dishwasher (dishwasher is right above the area in basement where panel is).
Could i have a rough estimate please.
Thank you,
Nancy
To whom it may concern,
I own a townhouse in Oshawa and there are a few items that need to be attended to:
1) Install 2 smoke detectors. One on the main floor and one upstairs.
2) There is a buzzing noise when the bathroom plug upstairs is being used. Needs to be checked.
3) Light switch for staircase leading to basement is not working. Needs to be checked.
4) One light in the hall upstairs is not working. Needs to be check
5) Timer and knob on dryer needs to be checked.
Please provide me a quote and how quickly the issues stated above can be attended to.
I want to move my laundry room upstairs to a walk in closet. There is enough room, all the drywall has been removed. I can re drywall the room. I need to have the plug run up to the closest from the basement. I will also need to have the water supply brought in, I would like to have a drain installed into the floor in case of leakage. Lastly, will need an exhaust hole for the dryer. The wall is against an exterior so just a matter of cutting a hole.
Installation of LED 5000k Pot Lights on Main Floor and 2nd Floor.
Family Room x6 Lights
Kitchen/Dining Room x6 Lights
Master Bedroom x4 Lights
Master Bathroom x4 Lights
**Amount of Lights may vary slightly upon contractors recommendation for Lighting
Phone Calls and Emails welcome.
I am having to rewire the main and upper level of my home from aluminum wire to copper. There are 37 devices that need to be changed over or added (lights and receptacles).
Some wires have been significantly chewed by squirrels and are bare in the attic and crawlspace areas. Is this a hazard to have them still connected in this space and how quickly should this job be completed?
Please provide me with an estimate. I'll be out of town for the weekend but want to get this started quickly so please send me a quote and I'll be in touch with an electrician to have this job completed.
Thanks in advance.
Need electrical upgraded and checked maybe some plumbing, bathroom Reno and some built ins in living room added. All main floor then painted and possibly hardwood redone or new flooring. Light fixtures added to three bedrooms as well. And I will probably think of a few more things by the time someone comes.
We're having new cabinets installed in part of our kitchen, and we need the outlet for the microwave moved. Right now, it's in the upper right hand corner of our kitchen (see picture) and we are looking to just move it further down on the same wall. If you think you can help, we'd appreciate hearing from you!
Hi,
There is a wall mount TV in our living room. We need a power outlet, an ethernet and a coaxial termination point for the system to work.
We do have all three available but they are further away from the TV and the wires look ugly.
I need someone to run the wires behind the wall and terminate them behind the TV.
Right now there is a coaxial cable termination point on the wall where the arrow begins in the picture.
Outlet - you can see in the picture and the ethernet connection is on the left side wall.
The basement is partially finished and there is a finished room under this area.
I need this done ASAP.
Please let me know if you have any questions and email me with a quote.
Thank you
Looking for someone (primarily electrician but if that person can also do the rest that is great too), to wire in the electrical for a dishwasher. The cabinets are modular style ikea cabinets and easily separated. The dishwasher would go in the cabinet on the left - a short jump to the sink. if it helps, there is already electrical running to the area, the outlet above the cupboard is functioning.
Hi, I am in search of an Electrican.
I am the property owner of a small house in Oshawa. I am easily accessible from the Stevenson road 401 exit
I got my basement renovated two years ago and got my electric downstairs completely redone. Since then I have installed fishtanks and today the electricity to this circuit they share went out. As did one in my bedroom. I went through all of the possible switches in the fuse box to see if any of the outlets could respond, and none did.
In retrospect, I have an outdoor outlet, I would like checked as well. I think the problem is in the box that it sits in. It is in an aquard spot and I think perhaps the wires came off inside.
I would like this done within the next week. I have extension chords powering the aquariums now, but I am curious if I need to upgrade what I had before hand.
I am uncertain about budget because I want to be fair but I am uncertain as to how big of a problem I have. Also, I want to pay you fair wage, I am not look8ng for the best do, I am looking for the best person for the job.
I will be at the dentists tomorrow as of noon. So, forgive me if I miss your call.
Best
Kate
