I am looking to renovate the shower in the master bathroom.
- The shower is 3' x4' x 7'10" h
- The ceiling is also tiled
- Keep the existing light in the ceiling
- We will use the existing shower head, control and foot spout.
- The current tile on the floor is uneven. This needs to be corrected for proper drainage.
- I think the existing Marble surround can remain.
- I would like to supply the tiles.
- I am looking to use over sized tiles for some or all of the shower. As large as 24" x 48". I would like to know if there is any issue with that. I am looking for the least amount of grout.
I would like two quotes if possible. Everything as above plus:
1) - I remove and dispose of the existing tiles.
- You - provide new and improved waterproofing for the entire shower
- Tile and grout it
- Reconnect the fixtures and light
2) You remove and dispose of existing tiles
Then install new waterproof, tile, grout and reinstall the fixtures and light.
There may be things that I am unaware of that need doing. Please let me know if there is.
1. repair wash basin in upper bathroom that leaks to lower bathroom
2. replace lower bathroom ceiling
3. retile the lower bathroom shower and walls (one half); install handle bars and stool (where senior can sit while taking a shower); all in all, make it make it senior friendly
4. replace toilet bowl
5. replace sink and cabinet
6. replace current lighting to make the washroom bright
Currently I have a standard bathtub/shower (L58.5"xD28.5") and want to replace it with a stand in shower.
Also, I want to have a tiled floor instead of a read-to-use floor.
Walls need to be tiled once tub is removed, either replace tiles entirely or create a pattern with different set of tiles where the tub was(to save some money).
I want to know prices for both these options
This is the first time I'm getting renovations done :) So let me know if I did not explain correctly.
A second story room addition over the existing kitchen. 13 1/2 x 14 1/2 (with a 1 1/2 foot cantilever). Gas fireplace, Wood laminate floor, one wall built in bookshelves, one wall all windows, 4 skylights . The bath is about 8 1/2 x 5. New tub/shower, toilet, vanity with ceramic tile throughout. Chimney must be removed to make room for a full tub. A new furnace may need to be installed to vent without the existing chimney. Drawings are completed. The existing kitchen ceiling must be leveled to put the new floor above as is has a slope. House was built in about 1914 but has had many renos and has been recently rewired.
House has had recent renovations and a walk-in shower was installed. It is completed but still needs a glass door and another glass to block off the water towards the back installed. Measurements for the doorway are 81 X 23 inches. The opening beside it is 56 X 23.5 inches.
I need a quote for the glass and installation and if possible how much the glass alone would be as well.
Thank you.
30 year old condo. Small bathroom.
I want a new vanity put in but not sure of what is under old one. I'm sure the vanity is original to the condo. I may have to put in a new floor depending on what is under the old one.
Installer must be licensed and insured required not only for my peace of mind but my condo association requires proof as well.
8 x 6 bathroom in basement, has a toilet and small stand up shower enclosure and sink only. house was built in 1950s, was previously renovated by previous owners. I would like to gut it all out including the drywall. i would like to install water and mould resistant drywall, insulate it properly. i would like to install nu heating flooring under new tiles. I would like to install a waterproof and vapourproof shower enclosure and sink and toilet and properly tile the floor and shower enclosure to minimum water damage and prevent mold. I would like this bathroom to be properly installed
Project is in scarborough- Finch and Birchmount
Basically I have some moulded walls in basement washroom.
#1) would like to remove old drywall from floor to 4ft above and replace with new drywall 4' in height.
#2) Install new bigger and more powerful fan to replace existing one and connect to outside of house.
Area which needs drywalls replaced in the washroom is approximately 3'- 6" x 5' with 3 walls are drywall.
So if replacing drywall 4' up from ground, need to replace about 54 square feet of drywall.
Please email me with your availability, quote if possible and if you can come over to have a look.
Looking to complete this repair ASAP
Thank you.
I am looking for contractor to construct two stand up showers and complete with labour, or labour and material.
The size is 30" wide x 60" long and the second is 30" x 30"
Both on FIRST floor of a commercial on main floor.
Main idea is to have it done FIRST TIME right with 100% water proof, Open for suggestions.
I have four toilets in the house that are quite old and need to be replaced with newer, more water efficient ones. I am looking for quotes for both parts and labour for good quality replacements. (Two of them will need to be an off-white brownish colour to match the washrooms.)
For one of the replacements, we also just noticed yesterday that it might be leaking as the ceiling on the main floor below the washroom has a water stain on it developing. This is just a hypothesis though, so I would be looking for the service provider to validate the source of the leak and also fix it (as there is a small chance it could alternately be the sink on the second floor not draining properly.)
We are planning to renovate our existing washroom and would like to replace the floor mount toilet to wall hung toilet. Existing tub with a stand up shower with wall fittings.
The area below is a T bar ceiling and excess from top of the floor is possible as we will be redoing entire floor as well.
Plumber with wall hung toilet experience need call for this job.
