We are started building our fence last year and since we have not a had to finish it, we were wondering if this is something you would consider helping us with. All the panels and posts are installed, there is only a certain amount of work to be done on approximately 30 feet. We also require a gate to be installed. We are located in Waterdown, Ontario. We have enclosed a picture of a finished panel, an unfinished panel as well as the door location. Please let us know.
Thank you
The fence between my backyard and the backyard of my neighbour is collapsing. This is due to a pressure from a retaining wall on my side that is pushing on the fence. I need the retaining wall replaced/repaired and the fence replaced. My property is about 30" higher than my neighbour's. My back fence is about 30' long. The current "retaining wall is simply 2"x12" lengths secured to 2"x4"s (the uprights). I've had 2 suggestions: 1) pull down the fence and dig out 2-3' of my property and drop in two courses of armour stone along the length of the fence as well as 4' up either side fence to secure the soil in my yard or 2) build a new retaining wall similar to the existing one but using 6"x6" to build the wall complete with tie backs and drainage tubes. A couple other things to note: 1) access to the fence would be from the neighbour's yard - consent would not be an issue; 2) existing plants (minimal) and grass would need to be repaired/replaced; 3) the fence runs through a 'soggy' area - there's a storm drain in my neighbour's yard near the fence. Please contact me if you need any further details.

Rob
