I was very reluctant to take on a home renovation project even though it was desperately needed. The reasons for my hesitancy being I have a disability and felt the disruption to my home might be difficult for me, as well as I had heard many stories of 'fly-by-night' contractors, people being scammed, I wasn't sure who I could trust. I shared my concerns with my friend and neighbour who recommended Jason. She knew him and his family well, having lived in the same neighborhood for years, even attending the same schools. From my first time meeting Jason, I was impressed with his professionalism (as well as his kindness). He took a great deal of notes, making sure he knew exactly what I wanted. He estimated it to be a 3 month project, and he was right on the mark. His attention to detail was so impressive! He's a master at painting! I have 2 new beautiful bathrooms, beautfully-coloured walls everywhere I look, a door into my garage, and gorgeous flooring throughout my home. He even took the time and effort to fix little issues not on my list. His prices were very fair, and he sourced the best deals for me. Jason was extremely mindful of my limitations and did his best to help. I feel very lucky that it was Jason who did the work on my home.

We have used Jason from Prime Works many times. This last project was a large commercial with lots of different requirements. Great work, consistent in keeping timelines, creative solutions as obstacles arouse. All round great experience. Many contractors make promises but don’t deliver not with Prime. Jason delivered what he promises in time on budget contracting. 10 out of 10.

Jason and his crew transformed our basement into a stunning and comfortable recreation room, complete with a three piece bathroom. Jason takes immense pride in his workmanship! He has fine attention to detail and precision in his work. Everything outlined in our contract was completed to our satisfaction. He explained the various steps of the process in very comprehensible terms. He was very resourceful, knowledgeable and helpful about products to choose for the project. He cleaned and tidied up the work site each day, before the end of the work day. Jason is a consummate professional!

He was always reliable, punctual, cooperative, respectful and friendly.

We are very much enjoying our beautiful new recreation room which has added a great deal to both the functionality and value of our home!

From start to finish, this renovation was a great experience. Jason provided a detailed estimate so it was easy to add or remove things to suit the budget. The work started on time and I was actually able to move in a week earlier than expected. The quality of the renovation is top-notch. Although the condo is only 20 years old, the walls aren't completely straight but Jason and Fernando knew what to do to get things working correctly. The place looks great and I couldn't be happier.

In terms of cleanliness, they fully prepped the floor and even covered the gap between the bedroom door and floor so no dust got in the bedroom and trucked away all the debris as the project moved forward. Jason was also invaluable in helping me get a plumbing permit.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jason and Primeworks.

Jason & Fernando did a great job adding some detail work we wanted to our kitchen cabinets, bringing our vision to life. Primeworks was cost-effective, on-time, professional, friendly, and did a good job cleaning up the space before they left. Jason was open to last minute changes, corrections, and suggestions. We weren't 100% sure exactly what we wanted the cabinets to look like, so Jason put up with us as we made some minor changes while he worked. We appreciated his input and flexibility.

PrimeWorks has provided excellent general contracting services including interior renovations (basement, laundry room, painting) and exterior construction (garage). Very attentive to detail and makes every effort to provide an accurate quote and then sticks to it. Jason Hutchins has also acted as a property manager for a rental property and has made a challenging undertaking much more tolerable.

Jason and his crew were very courteous, considerate and friendly and were very diligent about their work. I am very pleased with the results. The house looks very fresh and renewed and the backsplash in the kitchen is quite impressive. Thank you for hard work.

Primeworks performed the above tasks with speed and did a great job. They were very conscious of new floors that had been installed and totally covered them when installing the baseboards. Likewise, when painting, they very carefully taped off anything that was not to be painted. Because it was an insurance claim, they were working in conjunction with another contractor and quickly responded when the first contractor was finished to enable the job to be completed as quickly as possible. Care was taken in all they did.
