I would like new laminate floors. I have 3 closets attached to my bathroom and I would like to close them off and expand the bathroom which means moving the sink. And I would like ceramic tiles in there. Some tile in my laundry room would be nice as well. I would like a quote on re drywalling the whole place but if budget doent allow it then just a paint job will do.
I am considering purchasing a home built in 1970 and I want to know roughly what I would be looking at to put in a basement suite. The basement is approx 700 sqf with one bedroom, one rec room and an unfinished laundry room area. I know that the electrical would have to be upgraded and that it doesn't have a bathroom. The plumbing is there for a bathroom. I would also need to put in a kitchen and move the laundry if that is possible. Basically a complete reno on the basement. I just want to know if it is worth doing or if it would be more headache and money than I would want to take on.
