I'm helping my brother do a bathroom renovation in his new condo (he's giving me the opportunity to get some experience, as I'm a newly graduated Interior Decorator). We're looking for a contractor that would fit their tight budget of $5,000 - $8,000. It would be a simple bathroom update with new fixtures (tub, toilet, sink, ect.) and new flooring, new cabinet, new tile work and a fresh coat of paint. We wouldn't be moving any plumbing or taking out any walls. The bathroom is about 54 square feet (roughly 8' x 6').
Discovered that the chalking has aged and water has seeped into walls, told can be found on the wall behind bathroom. Shower stall hasn't been used for a couple of months to let it dry out.
2nd bathroom has a bath tub, tiling around the faucet head wasn't installed properly. Cracking and potentially leading to mold.
Not looking for a massive reno of bathroom, just a good patchup.
A small 3 piece bathroom, about 6 x 6 sq ft, stand-up shower, single vanity. An old raised, ground level bathroom with a window facing the backyard, adjacent to the septic tank. Needs new toilet, better plumbing, new tiles for the shower, new floor. Currently has grab bars for the two elders. Overall needs updating and accessibility.
Need to redo 2 condo bathrooms budget around 6k total for both.
Looking for a quote only labor and some materials/plumbing.
Need complete demo, new tiles, wall mounted vanity, replace toilets, tub/shower, some dry walling, paint, replacing a door.
Please email back with quote.
We live in an older home in Richmond, BC. We would like to get the bathroom on the second floor of our home completely renovated. The first task would be to remove the tub which is sinking and have a tiled shower (or unit, it is our preference to have it tiled but we will go with the best option) in its place. We need a fan put in the ceiling for ventilation as we have problems with mildew. We need all fixtures to be replaced including toilet, vanity (currently there is a two sink counter top - we need only one sink so a simple vanity) lighting, flooring (there is vinyl tile so we would need to get appropriate flooring). Obviously it would need painting and other smaller fixtures like a towel rack etc. Also a small bathroom window would need upgrading. The bathroom is approximately 8.5 ft (maybe longer) by 6.5 ft, again approximately. We are looking to have simple, durable fixtures - not high end. Whereas we would obviously like an esthetically pleasing appearance we are mostly concerned with proper plumbing this being an older home. Our budget will fit in what the needs are. As with our other projects, professionals will need to be pre-approved by furry family member who has the appearance of a small bear but the nature of a lamb.
Please provide only online estimates at this time. Thanks.
Bathroom is approx 54 sq ft
Looking to keep existing solid oak vanity (54" wide) but replace the countertop and move the vanity 4 inches.
Replace toilet, tub, all fixtures, remove wall mirror and bar lighting.
Install pot lighting and wall sconces.
Install new tile flooring and tile the bathtub area.
House was built in 1985 and all fixtures are original.
Install shower doors.
Remove false dropped ceiling above tub area.
Hi there,
I have a tub and surrounding tiles that need replacing as they were previously sprayed and now are chipping and have become very ugly. I'm selling so my goal is to do a reasonable job while keeping the price down. What's the price range, lead time, and project time?
Thank you!
Luke
I have a standard size apartment master bath, and I'd like to either a) replace the old metal tub with a new acrylic white tub or b) have someone install an acrylic tub liner. The bathtub is standard 60x30/32(?) Whichever is possible or more cost effective. The tub is in a master bath that is lined by an exterior walls, and a pocket door, so it will be snug. Ideally, we'd like an acrylic tub/shower combo to be installed, but if that cannot be done, a tub liner only would do. Cost with/without removal of existing tub would be great to have included - we could do the demo, but would prefer not to. The rest of the bathroom will be renovated by my hubby (tile floor (and wall if surround can't be installed) and new sink/toilet) so it will just be a job for the tub. Please contact me if you're interested. Must be licensed and insured according to Strata regular expectations.
1. Bathroom Floor. Extreme damage of bathroom floor around bathtub. Subflooring rotted, needs replacing. Probably replace tub and fixture as well.
2. Outside door, door frame and sill needs replacing.
3. Outside stucco wall was painted, now probably needs old loose paint removed and refinished.
All jobs need not be done at once, can be done at different times. Door and frame should be done before winter?
Hello, I would like to have an in-home estimate done for carpet replacement, approximately 1100sf.
As well as replacement of tile and new acrylic base on a 3’X3’ shower. The backer board will need to be replaced, and mouldings. Basically, a gut.
I am available here at our home in Steveston, any morning this coming week, after 11am.
Thank you!

Hi,
I am looking to get a quote to install extractor fans in both of my bathrooms. They both have bath/shower units and do not currently have any fan in place.
Furthermore I will using this as an opportunity to establish good relations with a contractor for other work that I am looking to do at a future date.
Thanks,
Keith
We would like to renovate our master bathroom. We have a jetted tub, small shower, water closet and single sink vanity all on linoleum flooring. We would like to keep the same basic layout (though we can part with the tub if it is better - but if we keep the tub, we do not need the jetted features) add a second sink (our current vanity is 75 inches). We would also like to replace the flooring to 12x24 inch tile.
We are looking to upgrade and refresh but are not looking for luxury finishes.
Our house is 12 years old. Includes a large master bath. The current fixtures include a (small single) corner shower stall, a large corner jacuzzi tub (which is in immaculate condition, so we may keep it for budgeting purposes), double sink vanity, and a toilet. There is a skylight, a window and some glass cubes to let lots of natural light in. The window and the cubes are on the same wall (between the shower and the jacuzzi) The jacuzzi is a corner tub and has a step up to the box. The steps are all around the tub (three sides).
Our ideal bathroom would be a spa inspired one. Tiles. The sq ft is about 140 sq ft, lots of space to work with. We would like a larger shower (as the shower now looks lost in the space, and there's lots of potential in that area) A steam shower would be fantastic, but may be too expensive. At least something with a built in seat and a rainshower system. We are not a huge fan of the minimalist look, and would want to have a warm and inviting bathroom to come home to and relax. A nice tub area would be ideal. Radiant floor heating present. Would like space for a towel warmer.
Toilet is currently in the third corner of the room (sharing wall with jacuzzi tub), and along the edge of existing wide vanity which spans the length of the room. The entrance to the room is on the other side of the vanity, which looks right at the shower stall.
Storage is important to us, cabinet spaces and perhaps room for some linens would be ideal.
Depending on the work that is done on this bathroom, we have another bathroom we would like to remodel, but that would depend on work and budget.
The master bathroom is about 100 sqft and the guest bathroom is about 50 sqft. I have pictures and ideas of what I want, but I don't mind purchasing similar materials or alternatives through a contractor for budget and convenience. I'm looking for a modern design with a dark palette. I would also need help with ripping out tiles on the floors and walls, and plumbing and installation of toilets (with bidets), showers, vanities, and sinks. I'm also the property owner of this condominium unit.
During September, I am looking for contractors that are willing to take the job and purchase all necessary materials. First come, first serve. In October, I want to start the installation process and have both bathrooms done by November or December. The deadline is flexible as I'm aware that contractors are very busy during this time.
Remove fitted bath tub and fitted walls, cure walls which have developed fungus or algea and install a tilled shower floor with a bench and tile the walls all around bath area from ceiling to floor. The bath area should have a glass door instead of a shower curtain. Place in side the bath area for placing toileteries. We live in a townhouse which is approx 35 years old. The toilet and vanity and floor are not required. We need to change the tap, and shower equipment. The bathroom is a full standed one. As we have just one and a half bathroom we would like to know how long will it take to complete the work. Could you also quote if for a bathtub with tiled walls.
Thanks
Change toilet, change sink to under counter sink with new countertop and under the counter and cabinets, new mirror, new vanity lights, new floor to ceiling tile, remove damaged ceiling, replace with new. Provide new power exhaust vent, new baseboard, baseboard heater cover.
November 2015
Please estimate

Option 2. All above plus new shower stall to replace washer dryer, relocate washer dryer to upstair storage closet without hookup.
Option 3. All above including kitchen renovation - details to follow.
31 year old house with original bathroom design and fixtures. We would like to semi-gut both bathrooms and put in all new fixtures, tile shower, vanieties and new floors (tile or lino). Some reinforcement to structure may be needed due to water damage from original tile. For the main bathroom, we'd like to move the toilet to a different area and build a new seperate tiled shower.
Looking for experience, trustworthy contractor with a focus on quality workmanship. We are in this house long-term and have very young children so the quality must last. We are working within a defined budget and would like the work to start and finish relatively quickly to accomodate our family.
Please contact me via Email (edwardtien@shaw.ca) or cell (6046171151) if you require additional info or want pictures.
We have a 10 year old bathroom with typical bathtub shower combination. We would like to remove the tub and place a walking shower with sliding door and re-tile the whole bathroom, replace counter-top and sink.
I have a second master bathroom that we would also like to replace the tube and expand the walk-in shower. Re-tile and replace counter-top and sink as well. Add storage if possible.
I would like to obtain some quotes for this.
My friend need to replace old shower faucet set that has not been used in years. If it requires taking down part of the tiled wall, then it will involve replace the surrounding tiles too. Tile area is approximately 80 square feet in total.
Quote should includes tile prices. We are not too picky about color except that it should be white or creamy or light.
We require your business be insured because the work will be carried out in an apartment. Skills required include licensed plumbing, drywall repair and tile work.
Attached please find photos of the old faucet and the new faucet and shower head we bought.
Please provide a quote for the job. Thanks!
