New owners in July of a place that has a 2 car garage (24'10" x 19'4, 12' ceilings, cement floor) Goal: Convert 1 half of garage to living space and connect to existing suite.
Would need to divide garage in half with a wall. One side already connects to the house with 3 steps and a door, the other side will be made into 2 rooms that would need to be connected to the existing nanny suite that already has a kitchen and bathroom. In order to connect the new living space to the existing suite, would need to cut a space through existing wall and maybe part of the foundation to add a couple of steps from new section to old section.
Ideally we would need permits to make the existing nanny suite and the new section a legal suite.
New connections for a washer dryer as well, 10ft from kitchen.
Project doesn't need to be finished, I can patch drywall, paint and install trim, I could probably install floors from home depot myself. Just the framing, fire resistant drywall, electrical,
Starting end of july
My garage was recently damaged by my neighbor's car. He had driven into the corner of the garage. That corner looks like it got pushed in as there is damage on the bottom and a crack at the top of the wall. The wooden gate was also damaged and can't be closed any more. The garage door will attempt to lift but ends up closing.
Pictures attached will show parts that have been damaged.
Our garage needs work, the stucco is falling off of 1 side and is cracking in lots of areas, the roof needs replacing, it is used for storage only and is dry on the inside, there is a barn door in the back lane side that is very broken and it opens to another wall and door that is the actual door to get in the garage from the lane side.
There is space of about 2 inches around that inside sealed wall that is open though and a nice family of squirrels are living in the enclosed rafter area. Help.
Would like the stucco removed, hardy board or what ever it is called put on, the roof changed and a proper wall and door put on instead of the double phony door.
Choose 5000- 20,000 only because they didnt give me much choice want to keep it under 8000 if I can.

I'm looking for general handyman type services in a few areas. The work area would be an 800 sq. ft. apartment, concrete building, on the westside of Vancouver. Details below:
Mouldings - I'd like to get replace the existing baseboard with new baseboard. I'd also like to install crown moulding throughout.
Bathroom (approximately 9 ft in length and 6 ft in width)- a whole makeover, including:
- removal of the existing sink / vanity cabinet / medicine cabinet / tiles / fan and replace with new
- either replace or refinish the bathtub
Kitchen (approximately 9 ft in length and 7 ft in width) -
- removal of the existing tile floor and replace with new
- install tiles in the backsplash area
- possibly blocking off of one of the doors and putting in a wall in its place
Also, I have purchased IKEA cabinets and am leaning toward using their installation service; however, if you have experience in installing such cabinets, I may be interested in using your services.
If you feel that this is a job that you can competently handly, please respond. When you drop by for an estimate, I'd be very interested in hearing your suggestions. My ideas are not fixed so your feedback would be appreciated. I'd prefer that the work start in December but this is not mandatory.

The house is 3,000 sq ft and was built in 1910. The entire house needs to be fully renovated.

Floors: Need to be sanded and varnished.

Please call me if you are available to start work right away. Our goal is to have this house back on the market in October. If this sounds crazy to you then you are not the right contractor. We expect hard working teams to come in and do this house quick. If you bring one guy in at a time to do the job once in awhile, you will be fired. This is a team effort, and a multi task job.
Please contact me if you and your team are hard workers and want to get the job done fast and done properly and can make common sense decisions on your own.

We recently bought a older home that we are planning to completely renovate on the interior before moving in. We will eventually also redo the exterior, but are looking to make it livable inside first.
The following work needs to be done:
- About 2500sq ft of laminate floor installation
- Finishing of approximately 1000sq ft of basement into 2 rooms: lounge/rec room and a bedroom (framing, drywall, flooring, painting, lighting, electrical, ceilings)
- Finishing of the bathroom in the basement - it currently has only a toilet and a sink, but we would like to add a shower/bath if possible and finish it with new tile/drywall
- We'd like the kitchen completely redone - Tiling of kitchen floor, new countertops, cupboards, lighting and fixtures
- Retiling upstairs bathroom
- All existing interior walls repainted
- We are also considering replacing the windows in some areas - some need it sooner than others.

Hi,
My fianc and I are looking for a contractor to renovate 1 full bathroom, 1 half bathroom and the kitchen (the house is 30 years old with no major issues). We would like the work to be done within a month as we are moving into the house after our July wedding.
With respect to the bathrooms, we would like to renovate everything which includes the tiles, tub, sink and toilets. We would like somebody to take the old items out and install the new ones we choose. We will have our own tiles person but you would need to make sure that the plumbing is adequate when installing the tub, sink and toilets.
In the kitchen, we would like to move entrance door to the kitchen about a foot (framer is required), we would like to move the stove from one side of the kitchen to the other side, the dishwasher will have to move from the right side of the sink to the left side of the sink. We will also be installing spot lights in the kitchen and other light fixtures in the house (electrical work required). Another item on kitchen reno will consist of installing a washer/dryers in the kitchen as we do not have that in place right now.
This is a summary of the work that needs to be done as we will bring our own tiles and cabinet person. But as you can see we will definitely need help with plumbing, framing, electrical work and installing items such as the tub, sink etc.
Please reply with an online estimate and let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
Galley kitchen in condo needs new lighting, counters, cabinets and sink. Electrical to include over the stove microwave. New tile floors already installed.
Main bathroom needs new tub, shower tile, sink, vanity, and fixtures. Tile flooring needs to be installed, but has already been purchased.
En-suite bathroom needs new sink, vanity, lighting, and corner cabinet installed.
Please e-mail information about your company.
Hello,
During the weekend I noticed water coming from under the sink. It appears that the sink and the counter top/the caulking have come away from each other. It is undermount sink with granite counter tops. It looks like the clips from underneath the sink are hanging down as well.
I would love to have this fixed as soon as possible. Please let me know if you do jobs such as this and can help.
Thank you,
Samantha
