Delize Inc

We had a terrible renovation with Delize from 2016. Benjamin was hired to do an upstairs renovation which in retrospect, was way above his competency. I am still dealing with the results of his shoddy workmanship today.

Benjamin used OSB in our bathroom shower, and then his tile guy painted the OSB and installed the marble we bought. The OSB swelled and caused a leak into our main floor kitchen and ruined our cabinets. OSB should never be used in a bathroom. The proper materials are cementatious backer board and Kerdi liner. He reluctantly came back to repair it, blaming me for the leak and said that we were costing him money to fix his and his tile guy's screwup. He fought with his tile guy and brought in someone else. The "fixed" shower tiles were not done properly and neither was the glass doors. We are looking at quotes to redo our shower.

He and his crew ruined the marble and grout in the other bathroom because they never used a drop cloth to protect the newly tiled floor just days after it was installed. Our white grout was permanently stained even before we once used the bathroom. I suggested using a drop cloth but Benjamin insisted his guys were good at cleaning up. Our white grout is stained brown.

There are many more issues that came up, from terrible painting with huge globular drips to the doors were installed "sprung" to spray paining without masking the windows and so on.

Just today I peaked into my attic on a hunch that there was something wrong with our bathroom fan. And low and behold, the red tape Benjamin used to attach the exhaust pipe had given away and our bathroom exhaust was venting into our attic space. I have no idea how long it has been like that, but I know he and his incompetent workers were the people who installed the fan.

So buyer beware with this company. He has no accountability for his work and it shows.

Pleased to share with great satisfaction about Delize's team who renovated our kitchen completely. The end result is quite a wonderful, sharp look with a modern design. All the trades experts knew their craft, showed careful attention, and met timelines. I really felt they were focused and motivated to serve us up a really fine end product. The team listened to feedback and followed through with changes and were helpful with suggestions and plans. We really liked the work plan calendar provided. Generally, lots of integrity shown. This is the second project Benjamin has done for us. Within a week of explaining our project to Benjamin we were already coordinating a start date that worked for both parties. On site work efficiently and precisely done. Thoroughly cleaned up before leaving. Totally satisfied!

Incredible service and very professional! Benjamin took time to come to meet us and review the job and then e-mailed the quote to us. We had hired another deck builder that did not take time to come and see the job, but we had to go to them.

The quote came in at the same price as the other deck company that we terminated, however the price included a deck attached to the front step and material costs that was not part of the other deck company's quote.

Delivered showed up at exactly the time and day they said they would and the crew was very professional and hard working. Benjamin came by the first day to insure his staff were all set up. They did a beautiful job, in good time and cleaned up when they were finished. Our step and deck looks incredible! Great value and great service!
