Contractor responses to my deck post job

Hello Contractors, I just recently posted a project to have two deck posts installed in my backyard. In my posting i provided detailed information in hopes of getting an idea of cost and timeline and finding the right contractor for the job. This is a simple project that would require little effort on the part of contractors to respond directly to the information i posted however, some of the responses i received were completely out to lunch with information completely unrelated to my request.

Here is an example of one of the responses. I've omitted the names to protect the oblivious:

I take great pride in the work I do, therefore every aspect of a project that I undertake is completed to perfection! I begin with a design sketch, followed by detailed CAD drawings and finally on to the construction process. I offer reasonable prices and I will provide references upon request. Please contact me if you are still looking for a sketch and a detailed quotation for your proposed project.

I look forward to hearing from you."

As you can read, this person obviously took no time to read my posting, wasting my time and theirs. I made no mention in my posting that i require a sketch and never thought that installing two deck posts would require CAD drawings.

I just thought you guys, or gals might want to know that most consumers that take the time to post their project would expect to receive a response from contractors that actually took the time to read their posting and respond accordingly.

I know that this is not a huge project however it is a simple project that would provide some income to anyone that has the skills to complete the project and common sense to use this service as I'm assuming it was intended to be.

This is just a small example of the responses I've received so far. Most of you have been courteous enough to read my posting and respond to my concerns and questions asked. I will wait for a few more responses and make my decision within the next few days. Thank you to all that have, and will be responding properly to my posting.
