How can you obtain a licensed residential builder certificate? And from where?

There is a group called the HPO, stands for Homeowner Protection Office. If a company builds new houses or building, they must have this license. This is a public information and the search is open to everyone to check if the business that they are hiring is licensed. Here is the web page to do the search:

There is also the greater Vancouver home builders association, they have other affiliations as well, (i think they are tied to four other groups).
