I am building a house that will have a frost wall with a slab on grade. The house has an attached garage. The slab will have 2 inch rigid insulation and radiant heating.

I am trying to figure out how the footing for the common wall between the house and the garage would look like, since the garage slab would have to be lower than the house slab. Just simple tiered footing?

Thanks for an ideas.

You would have to do a spread footling no less than 4ft, and to the hight of the house slab.

I hope that was helpful.
