Hello again,

I am in the market for Ductless Heat Pump Quad Zone for my 15 year old semi detached home at 1700 sq. ft. living space and it would be four zones wherein an 18000 BTU will be installed in second level and two 7000 BTU for each room and 9000 BTU in the master bedroom.

I am wondering how much will it cost me for everything with the best in market compressor with at least 19 or higher SEER rating.

I received a quotation for $12,700 for the whole project is the price RIGHT?

I need help in here and also your suggestions is very much appreciated on what will be the best configuration on my 3 level house (level lot).

Thank you once again...

Jake

Hi Jake!

Really hard to say if that price is high. Many factors come into play with heat pumps. If power can be supplied easily. Do walls have to be opened up to run wire or piping etc. The walls if opened have to be closed up, etc. Sounds like they might be oversizing the system a bit. But I don't know the layout of your house.

Get 3 different quotes and do some research on the model they have priced for you. Once installed you will be comfortable for sure. But knowing what I know of heat pumps the price is not out of whack for a good system.

Sorry I can't be more of help to you. Good luck on your project.
