PICTURE

Please advise me on the purpose of this black rubber vertical tube that is affixed on the ground of the basement.

I have a furnace, humidifier and a water heater in the basement.

Should I remove this eye sore?

Is there something that I could use to replace this eye sore?

Thanks

Sorry but we cant tell from the picture if that is connected to any HVAC system. If you could follow where it is connected and let us know then maybe we can give you some ideas. However please dont cut it unless you know it is safe.

It's a drain line, if you are not using it then just cut it and plug it . It ties into your main drain line under the floor.
