Just wondering if anyone has ever had issues, such as molding, flaking or fading, with Trex Composite enhance decking before?
Hi Michelle,
I have put in a Trex deck this summer ( Nepean Area) and have had no complaints so far, it is fairly new however. Depending on the area ( Sq. Ft.) of your deck that is showing damage , age of your deck is a big one. Trex if that indeed is what it is, did have problems about 10 years ago with mold, but has improved greatly since than, and there warranty is pretty good. You do require a original receipt however.
Thanks,

Great prout but it absorbs heat. So gets warm in summer that it is too hot to stand in with bare feet.
Yes I have, back in 2007 i spent over $1800 on my deck, this was when Trex was fairly new product. Was disappointed after in about five years started to deteriorate like rot/ flaking off. I looked into it, apparently had a recall on it but had a claim time limit, which i found out from the supplier after the fact. Needless to say, i will never purchase Trex again. I am a carpenter and I use a composite decking called "Moisture Shield" which has never been a problem. I am sure Trex is better now, but i would never take a chance and i feel let down as a consumer. Just Saying.
