Need to add an additional room to our house, how easy and cost effective is this? We'll be tearing down excisting bedroom walls and reconfiguring all bedrooms.

Its very easy if you hire the right contractor and the right designer (We design and build all our projects ourselves to create curbside appeal for your home)!
You will need a permit/dwgs and then construct a new addition with stairs from the interior. I have a set of plans to show you one job we designed that adds a garage and a 2nd storey addition above, and how we managed to get access into the house and also to the 2nd floor, while creating curbside appeal for the home.
Its all about how you manage to integrate the addition with the existing house so that it looks like it should always have been there.
