I'd like to know how much a three piece bathroom renovation cost. All I need is to convert the tub into a built up shower, one piece toilet with dual flushing, procelaine floor and wall tiles, medicine cabinet with mirror and a vanity set with granite or quartz counter top and faucets.
Hello,
Without actually seeing the project, I believe you would be looking approximately $8,000 to $10,000.00 if the contractor is to supply all materials.
As mentioned in the first response. It is costly. Bathrooms and kitchens are the most expensive area's to build or renovate.
With out seeing the project I will give you a range.
From a minimum of 8,000.00 up to 12,000.00 depending what you choose for material.
I built a 25,000.00 steam shower a few months ago, imagine what the rest of the bathroom will run. We are doing this one in stages.
Hi Sir,
Some of the contractors give estimate of the coast without see anything to give you some idea only. Believe or not this is not good. You have to get exact estimate by see it by them self to discuss with you for all details.
Thank you,
Leo
Hello Mr. and Mississauga,
I normally tell people to budget $10,000 and up for a small bathroom. Especially with electrical code updates, faucets and shower trims, proper floor and wall prep with proper materials. And tile can be very expensive. And if you cheap out, you'll hate your bathroom after.
Have a great day.
Mike
I cant speak for anyone else but as a contractor I have done many bathroom renovations, depending on how big the bathroom is something like you mention in the post. I would usually charge anywhere between 6 thousand and 8 thousand. Sometimes even helping homeowners save a little money is always a good thing.
