Hello,
Just wondering what it would cost roughly to remove a load bearing wall in between my kitchen/ living room? Wall is 14ft long and has electrical for 3 switches only with no duct work.
Thanks
That's a loaded question. Depending on finished basement, location of switches, plumbing to be moved, etc. You could bank on $4000 and up.
It is a finished basement with no plumbing in that wall. Only thing is wiring for a ceiling fan that would have to be redirected to a different wall.
This job will cost you about $5000 demo, all LVL beams and posts as required, including the electrical relocations.
Hi my name is Dario from Palumbo construction. All depending your eigineers drawings. Sometime you can install beam from Lvl engineered beams which is less expensive than a steel H beam. With out seeing this project I would estimate this work between 4000.00 to 6700.00.
I hope my info was helpful.
Regards
Dario
