Need a rough idea what I am looking at to build a stud wall and have it drywalled.
Hi Bill,
Rough numbers are $10 to $20 per linear foot to build the wall and $3.00 per square foot to supply, install, tape, mud ready for prime and paint.
Fun stuff! Good luck with it.

Bill,
Jim is correct unless there are issues like doorways, uneven floors or ducting and vents to contend with. Also, consider what you may require for electric outlets and if plumbing is involved.

Mark
Hi Bill,
The price varies from city to city and depends havily on the complexity of the job. For example we offer $6 per sq ft basic wall including framing, drywall and taping -ready for paint, but the number will be higher if the job has boxes and lot of corners.
Good luck,

A typical 10 by 10 wall can cost anywhere from $40-$120. Depending on material. Steel or lumber, isulation R value. And of course on the drywall1/2" or 5/8". I can't tell u exactly because I don't have dimensions. But the prices are:
-$5.60 per steel stud 10' in length 3 5/8" wide
-$3.27 per 2x4 wood stud
-$17.99 per 4'x8' 1/2"regular gypsum board
$32 per 4'x8' 5/8"
-insulation is $37 per bag. It gives u just under 100'
-4 gallon pale of ready set is $23
-tape is $5 a roll.
-paint is around $30 per gallon
So measure your wall, multiply it by the prices above. I hope that was helpful.
