How much would it cost to install cheap ceramic tiles in an open space basement, about 1000 sq ft? And how much for the thin set? Installation only.
Thank you
Between 3 and 4,000.00 labour only plus materials.
Hi Dear,
It is depends on the tiles you want to install. The finish and size also affect the price of installation, then the finish of floor will be a factor as well.
Best regards
Good Day, Rockland,
The quality of the tiles aren't really an issue in the cost of installation. If you want the job done properly, have some flooring/tile installers come to your place and provide an estimate (usually free). The floor should be level and flat. You should consider an underlay (ie Ditra or some other material. Consider proper tiles because you don't want to be re-doing the job a few years down the road. Do a good job.
Regards,
Mark
Good Morning,
Typically ceramic is only meant for the walls. Porcelain is much more durable for floors especially in the area you are looking to have it installed. However, if you would like it installed by professional installers you are looking at a cost for 5-6 thousand for all materials and installation. We would be happy to provide a free quote for you if you interested.
Thank you,

Hi,
You should be budget approximately $5-$6/sqft. Additional information will be needed as the following affects the price:
Size of Tile
Pattern the tile will be laid
Any additional prep work to the basement slab if needed.
Good Afternoon;
I would say if it is a typical 12"X12" tile, the price for thinset, grout, and installation (no tiles included due to heavy price variances dependent on quality, you would be around $3000.00 to $4000.00 inclusive.
I hope this helps!
Kindest Regards,
Don Engler
