We are in a rented house in Calgary, I'm guessing it was built in the 60's. The landlord commented about wanting to knock out a kitchen wall at some point in the future, and we think it's a great idea and want to encourage them to do it now! The wall is not load bearing, and has a couple of electrical outlets and light switches in it. What would be the approximate cost for knocking out about 2 metres floor to ceiling, and another 2 metres (L shaped) from about counter-height to ceiling? Including all finishing at floor and ceiling.
Thank you!
Approximate cost to rip those walls out, have an electrician rewrote existing wires and plugs/switches. repair ceilings and Flooring would approximately be $3,000. This is an approximate it could be less or more depending on the actual project and flooring material used excetera.
Thank you,
Jeff from all in renovations here in Calgary.
That would be around $3000 but not including the floor - Just the wall removals and the electrical outlets including patching up the walls - ceiling in case not a stucco ceiling
