Exposed insulation in Master Bedroom Is this a concern?

This exposed insulation is in my master bedroom. Is this a concern? It is near a vent that blows air.

Anything but foam insulation effects the air quality. Cover the open area. Even with plastic taped over it temporarily

Insulation should never be exposed? it should be covered with a surface wall, ceiling or flooring material..it also means vapor barrier is likely compromised or even missing?
