Fireplace renovation

I have an ugly brick fireplace with a very large hearth. I would like to remove the hearth (I have enough hardwood to fill in the area) and resurface the brick on the rest of the fireplace.

What are my options and how much can I expect to pay for this project.

The fireplace is 25 years old and has been converted from wood burning to gas.

Thanks.

Hi Jackie, You should put this in the "post your project" section so you can get some local contractors to respond. This type of project doesn't have a range of prices we can give you - it is totally a one off.

Good Luck with it!
