Would you fill in any crack or holes in foundation with hydraulic cement before applying foundation waterproofer?

Yes you want to fill any cracks with hydralic cement or similar products. They need to be filled because it's another layer of protection from water penetration.

Hi Kelly,

I would suggest you use an epoxy injection system to fill any cracks in your foundation. This can be done from the inside if it is accessible. Caulking or hydraulic cement will not last. They are at best a temporary solution. The injection system can be a DIY project or if you are not comfortable you can post the project and have someone do it for you.
