I found this picture on TrustedPros and may be interested in a similar project but would first like to know what the estimated cost would be.

What would the approximate cost be for an entire house, to re-update kitchen, bathrooms, etc that you recommend for Re-Sale / flipping purposes, to give it a modern feel that would be attractive to home buyers.

Assume a 2000 sq foot home (bungalow), 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, outdated, good bones but needs a makeover, new appliances, etc.

I don't have a listing as yet but can you give me a ballpark figure. This is for purchasing + improvement + resale purposes.

You are looking around 60.000 to 70.000 including materials.

Does this include renovating the basement and creating an in-law suite?

Also, what would be the approximate time frame for the reno?

Hi Ronnie,

For something like the picture you would be looking around $20,000-$30,000 depending on your finishes.

For the entire house renovation including the basement you could be in the ballpark of somewhere in between $90,000-$110,000.

As for timeline you would be looking at around 3-4months from start to completion.
