How much would something like this cost?

There are a lot of factors to incorporate when grtting an estimate to project cost. The location of the bathroom within the home. The current age and condition of the home.

The finish materials in that bathroom are higher quality then your obvious standard box store materials. If I had a shot in the dark I would budget $35,000-all labour, building materials and finish materials included.

Keep in mind there are too many factors to take into account. I would also say it would land +/- $8,000.

I agree that those finishes are not standard big box stores. The vanity would run you in the $2500-$3000 range.

Glass shower that size could be $3000-$4000. Tiles are whatever you want to spend.

If all drains are in and no plumbing is being moved. We could finish that for about $20,000

There are many factors to consider. If I were you and this is pretty much what you want you should budget for $ 40,000 +/- From what I can see there are many, many extras in this bathroom. This is a bathroom for the rest of your life and very personal, cost will never be re-coped on re-sale.

Looking at the picture you posted there is a lot going on. It is far above an average bath that would run around 8000. It appears to have slabs of cultured marble or some other solid surface, tile work in the shower large panes of glass for the shower surround, wall mounted vanity that is at least 72" and the list goes on.

This could easily run into 30,000 plus depending on what you start with. Fixtures alone in this picture could run $12,000 - $15,000 then wall coverings and flooring $5,000 - $6,000 add in the labour and trades your over $30,000.

If you would like this or a similar using high end products I would estimate this to be closer to 50,000. Beware there is not a company in Canada that could complete for 20,000.

We are in agreement with Thomas, the cost of an ensuite renovation such as this would be in the $35,000- $45,000 range.
