Looking to talk with someone on breaking a renovation contract with a customer. Things have gotten out of hand and I do not want to finish the job. Is there anyone willing to email me about this?
Hey Jason. Sorry you're in that position. It's never good when things go south. I'd be happy to chat and try and help.
Feel free to text or call me. 2894420044

Hey thanks a lot. That would be great. I could send you an email kind of detailing everything if you'd like.
Unfortunately you are in a difficult position. A contract is binding on both parties and it is implied they will adhere to the terms and payments. Also it all depends on exactly what is in writing. Breaking a contract by either party can leave you both open to legal action. The client can sue you for total cost to finish the contract. You cannot just walk away because you want too. I have only had too do this twice in 22 years and the only way I got it agreed to by the Client was by agreeing to give the client everything I did for them up to that point free. They also agreed to accept my reasons for this, which BTW were reasonable in any circumstances and let me out of my obligation. I have however had to quit bad clients due to them not meeting their legal contractual obligations and then having to sue them. It is always best to try and reach an agreement. Walking off a job is really bad, affects your reputation and will likely result in yourself being sued. Talk to them, offer something to make it worth their while and it may work out.
Sure. Tyler@reedinteriors.ca

From what you wrote it sounds like you're the contractor. But posted under your personal name. Either way you'll have to give more details as to what happened. A Contract is a legal document. Even a verbal one is binding. It's best to get legal advice. But if you give us more details, maybe there is an easier solution.
Hey mark would love to email you about it
Best advice I can give is to seek legal counsel if there is no chance you can reconcile or work out differences. If one side is feeling a certain way there is a good chance both sides are feeling the same. Good luck.
