Can i use non treated wood and 6 mill poly as bottom plate of basement framing? Proper vapour barrier? In Edmonton area.

Yes that is permitted by Code.

Louis, Yes you can. The main reason to use pressure treated wood or poly between the concrete and the bottom or sill plate is to minimize the moisture from the concrete leaching into the wood, causing potential weakness and/or mold.

Yes,

But bring the poly up the stud sides to keep water out and staple.
