My general contractor took down my garage door to do his work and now he is asking me $1000 including taxes to put it back. This guy has been paid over $170,000 to do work in my home and now he is sticking this bill to us. Please help!!!

On this subject.
The contractor is responsible for all site conditions pertaining to his contract.
If during the phases of his contract he remove's an item to create a benefit to himself with or with out your knowledge or sanction he must reestablish the condition prier at his cost.
